I have to work today, too...somehow I don't believe my music students wouldn't think it a very good April Fools Joke to have their teacher not show up because she's too busy posting on this forum! besiderself (y'all save me a funnel cake, eh?)

Popping in to spur the discussion on before heading out for work... Ok, so someone over on Narniaweb pulled a great joke and I fell for it...hook, line and sinker (I'm really good at that. If it brings you joy, you may pull pranks on me). But it got me to thinking about a really old movie by that title: Hook Line and Sinker...Jerry Lewis was in it. I remember thinking it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen back when I was...whatever. 12? 15? 9? The movie, I think, was in black and white--either that or our tv at the time was still in black and white. I remember nothing about the movie except that Jerry Lewis fell into a pool at one point. Does anyone remember that movie, and was it as funny as I remember? besiderself

I don't remember the names of his movies I just remember loving him, especially in the Dean Martan years. I have not seen a JL movie in years. I'll have to watch for them on TCM.

I hate days were I have an overwhelming amount of work to do and I just don't feel like doing it. I hate it that I have that option. It would be so much easier if I knew the boss could walk by any minute, that would keep me on task, and off of here.[8\|]
