Many prominent Democratic leaders are calling for Clinton to drop out of the race now, so the party can get behind one candidate - Obama. What do you think?

Political fortunes have been known to change nearly overnight (as in Obama, pre and post his reverend's racist rantings). She ought to stay in.

No, for heaven sake, no! Hillary should fight until the bitter end, until every delegate Super or otherwise is absolutely commited. Should should bite, kick, scratch, screech, cry, and any other thing she can think of until the convention acts decisively. And if it doesn't go her way, then the Democratic Party isn't good enough or big enough for her, and she should go directly to the people as a third party candidate. You go girl, you are makin' history here!

You know, I was just thinking about that this morning- I wonder whether the Democartic loser (be it Clinton or Obama) will try as a third party... and how will this affect the race? I'm almost 100% sure I heard a guy from Rasmussen say that Clinton has actually received more votes from Democrats than Obama has. It's independents and cross-over Republicans who've given Obama the edge. If true, that seems like more motivation to stay in. Do Democrats want to select their own candidate or let other people do it?

No...it's too much fun watching Bill tell the party to "chill out" (one can only imagine if the tables were turned what he would be saying) IMO, the remaining undecided super delegates should stand up and be counted by the time ALL the primaries are finished.

Hang in there Hitlery! Stay till the bloody end! Don't listen to the naysayers,the Obama bandwagon,the media, or anyone els!Till the dems are more divided,more discouraged,and maybe discarded. This could and I predict it will get really ugly.

There's a theory going around, that Hillary knows it would take a miracle for her to win the nomination this year. By keeping this thing going, she's preparing for 2012 (McCain will be about 112 by then), by doing as much damage to Obama as possible, and hoping (privately of course) for a McCain victory over him in the fall. - Julius

Actually I heard today that it is possible for Hillary to win the popular vote. If this happens then she can make a case to the Super Delegates that voting for her will actually be in line with the will of the people. Some analysts believe that the Super Delegates would vote for Hillary if it could be done in a way that would seem legitimate.

She's banking on a win in Pennsylvania. If she loses there (and polls have had her down lately) there will be no reason for her to stay in. I think most of the Democrat leaders are praying that she will lose, mostly because they want to avoid a drawn out fight.

Not sure what to think, since most have her leading. Is this the new trend, or is this poll just an outlier?
