He remembers important things that even I forget. My birthday was on Sunday and he got me some potted tulips. He said he thought it would be nice that we could plant them out back in the garden and every year they would come up for my birthday. Then he reminded me about a house we rented almost 20 years ago. The landlady had a whole bunch of tulips planted and they would come up early in the spring and I loved it. It was a wonderful memory to relive.

I love hanging out with my husband. He is just fun to be around and I am lucky to get to be with him every day.

I love going with John to Boston. He drives his power chair with one hand and my power chair with the other. Then my good hand is free to hold his.

I saw a cartoon the other day where the husband came home from work and said "honey, I feel like frozen pizza tonight" and the wife just swooned. Very true. I love how my hubby will suggest "something easy" or "cheating" (what we call eating out for dinner) when he knows I've had a rough day.

I had a baby blues moment last night and my hubby stood with me and held me while I cried. He didn't try to say anything to make me feel better; he simply just held and loved me.

I love that when I got home from a women's seminar last night, every single child was in bed and I didn't trip on toys through the livingroom. I have a good husband and my kids have a good Daddy.[:D]

I love that while we are out for walks, m'love makes sure to point out things of interest that I might have otherwised missed. We spent sometime watching a nice sized alligator swimming around a pond at lunch time today.

Car2ner I don't appreciate that aspect of my husband nearly as much as I should. I am a destination oriented person and he is all about enjoying the journey and I need to appreciate that God made him that way.

I love that my husband has an innate sense of when I'm sad or hurt, and always comes up with the exact thing I need to hear to make me feel better.

We spent a lot of years where he just couldn't understand my faith experience, so now he does understand it more. It is so wonderful to be able to share more of that and have him understand.

He noticed something that I was looking at and researching, and asked about buying it for me... That was really nice-he hasn't yet, because I would have to pick it out. (btw, 'it' is a serger [;)] )

I love the relationship that my husband has with our sons. They are 18 & 20 now and they both have a great deal of respect for their dad and feel very comfortable asking him for advice. They are both outstanding, independent responsible young men and my husband was so instrumental in their upbringing and that is becoming increasingly obvious the older they get.

I love the way my hubby takes care of me when I'm sick. He has MS and so he's not always feeling good himself. He gladly sacrifieces his comfort for me. He let me sleep in this morning, made me breakfast, and took care of the dishes and laundry so I could just rest.

I love when he shows the tender side of himself. We were watching a movie last night and it really touched him. He wasn't afraid to cry and share what he was thinking and feeling.

I just love his sense of humor! It is definitely one of the things that first attracted me and it still does.
