Just wanted to let y'all know about an exciting new group ---- as yet unnamed ---- that will be having its debut at the First Baptist Church in Oneonta, Alabama. The Mark Trammell Trio wlll also be on the program that starts at 6:30 pm on Friday, May 9.

There is a naming contest for this new group and prizes will be awarded to the winner (more info to follow about how to submit your suggestions). So put on your thinking caps and see if you can name the group which consists of: (drum roll, please!)

Brent Mitchell, Josh Feemster, Craig West, and Chris West

A friend of mine informed me of this post and I just wanted to send you guys a quick note to let you know that, I will not be a part of this quartet,Although I did agree to fill in for this one date. These guys are great singers and friends, and I wish them the best. You will be hearing more of my future plans hopefully with-in the next couple of months.

Yupp, not even really SG either. Not that there's anything wrong with it; I'll admit to liking some CCM groups. Anthony's group just isn't my cup of tea.

Yea, I don't think they've really caught on yet. I only hear about them through Myspace. They changed their name recently, from Anthony Facello & Crossroads to Beyond The Ashes

That's excites me as well; also, the fact that Chris West is getting back on the road is awesome! That guy can sing some bass! [:D]

For all of you imaginative people out there, your names for the group can be sent to Norm Basden at 2528 Hale Creek Road, Altoona, AL 35952. I just ordered my tickets and they're $15.00 each (same address). There will be several prizes but I can't remember what Norm told me they are - I knew I wasn't going to win, so I guess geezerhood struck and I don't remember!!

Qt Man the group Eric McCay is with will be singing on the program.
