Wow, I just found out I'm a grand prize winner of the new Kingsmen cd!

24 other people also were eligible to win the the album if they guessed the group singing correctly over on David Murray's blog. I know Aaron guessed it right - how many of you got it right?


This cd should be great from everything I've heard. Just when it seemed they were losing ground looking for a new band, the 4 guys they do have (well, 5 with Brandon on sound) cranked out a really good song! I can't wait to hear the whole album in a few days.

I saw the album art on DBM's blog. Kinda wierd seeing only five guys, huh? Hope they get that piano picker and bassist soon.

Yeah, I did.[:)]

I only guessed in a roundabout way, by deciding it sounded like a Kingsmen-style tenor, then ruling out all the other groups with former Kingsmen (or Kingsmen-style) tenors. My initial working guess, I will admit, was Old Paths, but I ended up ruling that out.

I was also one of the winners. I knew it was Bryan Hudson's (sp?) voice as soon as I heard it! I have always loved his voice. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the album.

Congratulations to the lucky winners!

I had plans to enter this contest and sure nuff I could have been one of the grand prize winners because Brandon Reese let me hear the new CD at the March 28th Kingsmen concert that I attended. With the death of my grandpa this past week, I completely forgot about entering this contest but I can wait till Horizon Records and the Kingsmen release this project.

God Bless and THANK YOU to everyone on here who prayed for me and my family during our time of great loss.

I got it right, and can't wait to hear the rest of the album.[:)] I was able to figure it out on the bridge of the song, when Bryan got more into the song. And I was able to pick out Philip and Reese.

I hope this new album will prove to the fans and the industry that The Kingsmen are still a top notch quartet. Yes, it is strange not seeing the band, but the line up of Reese, Hutson, Hughes and Reed, is the best the group had sounded vocally in years.
I have enjoyed them 3 times since January and I always walk away blessed.

Everyone who guessed correctly wins a Grand Prize, which is the album download...not just the song. Everyone who entered won a download of the song.

Those were the only two prize levels.

I was able to tell by picking out Bryan Hudson's voice. Phillip Hughes, Ray Reese, and Harold Reed also have pretty distinct voices.
