That's no joke, my youth pastor brotha. Blame only leads to bitterness and bitterness to nearly irreparable damage. Both parties have to understand their partner's feelings and stay committed to them even when things get nuts.

i believe that niether should have it harder, as randy said. but i think both deal with stuff. i mean, my really good guy friend AJ broke up with his girl friend cuz he wanted to flirt with other girls and "play the fields" and the same with a girl he only went out with for like a week. then, after that he flirts with BOTH of the girls he dumped. and me. it makes me very aggitated.

well I'm going with the girl. sorry boys[8|]......I guess maybe it's because my boyfriend of 3 years (on again off again) dumped me about 2 weeks ago[:(]
Girls sometimes put up with more than they should because they love the guy, at least that's what I did, I do realize not all guys will treat you badly, but all my relationships have had either verbal abuse/manipulation or the guy was using me because there was no other girls for him to date. So I have a hard time trusting guys. Now by no means am I putting you guys down, it's just this has been my experience thus far.

I want to be loved for real! [:(]

ok sorry I just spilled my guts to everyone

How far away do you live?[;)]

Hey guys.
No one has it harder. Each gender is different. How is a relationship "hard" anyway?

Yep. And my little rant about my having it hard was just my being a selfish git. Whoops! [sm=blush.gif]

Seperate motives pushing for different emotions without good intention.

GradySizemorefan24 -> RE: Who has it harder? (4/21/2008 7:37:04 PM)

a relationship is work.....and sometimes it is hard, because you wont always agree

DreadPirateRandy -> RE: Who has it harder? (4/21/2008 7:47:45 PM)

It doesn't have to be hard, that's just something that society has progressed it to be.

My youth pastor had the ideal marriage. He and his wife disagreed sometimes, sure, but that disagreement wasn't allowed to have a negative influence on their love for each other. And in other times, the arguments were generally playful and ended up in a gigglefest.

That's what a true marriage is. Your day isn't complete unless you see that the other is happy, because their happiness is most important to you.

GradySizemorefan24 -> RE: Who has it harder? (4/21/2008 7:54:32 PM)

right.......but I still think that when you disagree sometimes it can be hard, although it doesn't change your love, it's just hard to work through sometimes

ShutterBox -> RE: Who has it harder? (4/21/2008 7:56:25 PM)

yeah.. it really doesn't have to be hard at all. It wont be a cake walk, but why people disagree about so many SMALL things and then turn it into a huge matter I'll never understand.

My parents do that and it drives me insane. The smallest things make the biggest arguments.

I've made up my mind that if the man is high strung and gets mad over small stuff, he's history. I will not marry a Jekyll and Hyde.

GradySizemorefan24 -> RE: Who has it harder? (4/21/2008 7:57:58 PM)

yeah that;s true.....you cant get mad over ever little thing, its useless
