Here's an interesting twist.

I was listening to something last night. This woman was talking about an article she had read describing that women who invest in relationships with men who are lesser in looks, generally have better, long lasting relationships.

Sounds about right to me. It is better to have a nice guy who isn't so good looking, than a mean good looking guy. Which is usually how it is. Looks aren't everything. Personality is.

No offense Randy. Hehe.

I disagree.

Making note that the guy isn't so good looking is only going to damage his confidence, and make him feel lesser. That's not healthy on the relationship.

You can be good looking AND have a personality. It just isn't seen often.

I think good looks usually turn a guy's personality rotten. I suppose there are exceptions, but the guys I know who are the best-looking are real jerks. Comes with the territory.

I agree and some of the SWEETEST guys are the ones who aren't good looking.

By what classification?

Big glasses and a bad fashion sense doesn't make you awesome. Just ask my third grade teacher.

I believe it. My ex was the best looking guy ever. But he knew I wasn't the only one who thought that.

Making note that the guy isn't so good looking is only going to damage his confidence, and make him feel lesser. That's not healthy on the relationship.

That's putting it lightly.

geeks.....are better. Because you can be a geek and still look good. Nerds are unattractive indeed. and usually aren't as smart....

geeks are better because it's mostly their hobby or passion
nerds have it harder because they lack social skills but are usually smarter IMO but i agree mostly
