anyone but David Cook, because he'll end up with a way better deal then the winner. if anyone's noticed, the winner of every season drops off the face of the earth after a few months. Daughtry didn't win but he's gotten a better deal and he makes better music then who ever it was that did win. I think Castro's got something to. As well as Archuletta. but the rest of 'em..... i could live with out. and it's weird that I'm even watching this season. Usually i don't keep up with it after the auditions.

i never watch it.. or the equivalent greek idol. they bore me to no end. only the critics are fun. and those who suck but think they are good

i watch american idol at times. and i think maybe Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha mercado r really good but why would they take out of the american idol the girl who lost her dad. i mean she had a good voice right? [>:]

american idol sucks. it is just so bloody anti Christian. Christ should be our idol, not some freaking idiot who happens to have a nice voice. i vote that the whole american idol system just be broken down.

i have to say, jason castro is SOOOOOO NOT a hippy. he's far far from it. just because he's got dreads doesnt make him one at all. but i do love his voice. him, michael johns, and david cook are my favorites. the girls suck this year.

It may be a competition, but they should not make personal insults on the contestents. If their voice sounds like someone gave a cat a kazoo then ran over it with a steamroller, then tell them that. But don't insult their personalities or appearences, especially just for ratings.

Well, i wouldnt be justifying those insults cos I dont watch the show anyway- except once in a while. I guess you're right, but the contestants must have been prepared to abide the insults since they know what the program is all about-(i.e before showing up there.

they sang the song again on results night, last night, as an encore, and i noticed they did in fact have the name of Jesus in the first verse. i didn't pay attention to the first performance on wednesday, but i do know for a fact they said Jesus' name in the encore the next night.

I don't watch American Idol. I have issues even with the name of the show. A show devoted to making someone become a nation's idol? Not exactly how I want to spend my time.
