All the talk on this forum about the Diplomats made me think maybe it might be time to start a thread about them and their ministry. What do you think?

Saw them 2 years ago at the World Premier. From what I hear they are just getting better and better.

They are one of the few groups that I have not heard, but want to as soon as possible. I don't think they have been to Virginia, but they need to come very soon.

Seeing them in person is really the clincher. Or it was for me! Their personalities and their testimonies are a huge part of their attraction.

Glad this thread was started. Really enjoy the group everytime we hear them. We try to go see them when they are around in the area. They are a popular group with many of the Churches. They are evening singing in some big venues....Georgia Mountain Fair....Branson, MO...Dollywood...Check their shedule they may be in your area or close enough for you to see them.

They have added Joe Brown at bass and Micharl Lott at piano since then. The group has really been building up steam. Like Donna said, you really have to see them in concert to fully appreciate their ministry. They are really in their element in a church service, love that good spirit!

In the SG world being diplomatic is a very good (and sometimes a very trying) thing. Not that most aren't very gracious, but when humans are involved situations arise.

I hope Les does another impromptu quartet.

Well JimC, Les sang with us (Joe, Cory, & Jimmy) at the Southmen reunion and sounded great. Danny Jones called us the Beasley Boys. It was great to sing with this legend of southern gospel.

Omigosh...I love love love the Diplomats. The last time I saw them was at the Southmen Reunion. The piano player, what's his name....Michael Lott winks at everybody for applause...but when it comes time to be serious, you can tell they've really got the anointing...

Anyone around Branson, Mo. next week should try to go hear the Diplomats. They are going to be at Silver Dollar City next Wednesday through Friday. My wife and I hope to go. Good singing and entertainment out there.
