Summer hasn't come here yet. We're just finishing our winter. We have summer for Christmas.

Have you enjoyed your summer?

Oopps! My bad. Did you enjoyed your holidays then? Is holidays the right term? Hmm...

My summer was okay..... interesting, but okay.

Nope. No holidays here either. We get part of December off and pretty much all of January off for school holidays over here. I don't work or study though, so it's pretty much a lot of time off anyway.

Hi, Niki! Difficult to keep track of who's where and what season they're in, huh? We're back in three digits again this week. What's it like where you are?

Joy, won't be long and it will be cooling down where you are again. It'll be us that'll have the hot temperatures back again.

Ah, yes, summer.

The time of year when it's so HOT in my room that sleeping downstairs on the sofa is preferable...

I have the fan pretty much going all night in my room when I sleep, unless of course we have no electricity.

Joy, it's hot and humid where I am. I'll be glad when summer is over. 'Course I'll probably be saying the opposite when summer is gone. I don't know.

Hi, Niki and Trish!
We are blessed with mild winters, only had two very cold winters here in the last 20 years. December through February are my favorite months because I know I can always go outside and stay outside as long as I want in regard to weather and temperature! March, April and May are pretty good, too.

Joy, that is great that you get to enjoy a few months of great weather! =) I'm not sure what months our weather is "just right". There may be a cool front moving in tomorrow. I hope so! This heat and humidity is awful.

How is everyone doing? Any new news, anyone?

Hi, Niki! Good to know it's not that bad at work, but hope it gets to be real good! I really want to change what I am doing and I don't know what the Lord is saying, but Leonard is sensing something as well. So we are just waiting to see what the Lord says. At our age no one much wants people like us, except it's good that we are in missions because there are a lot of opportunities that way.

Hi, Trish! It's great to see you too!

Hi, Joy~ That's great that you have a lot of opportunities in missions. What kind of missionary work are you in?

Welcome back, Niki!

You asked about missions work. Leonard and I are with a worldwide mission and we work at the HQ. We travel in the US to mission exhibits, churches, etc. to make missions opportunities known--whether people can go or not, everyone can have a part in missions. At the HQ I put together a newsletter, prayer bulletin, and a bulletin for those who have shown an interest in missions, and do various other things in the office.

So what's happening? Are you reading any books?

Hey Joy! That is neat what you do in your mission work. Not much is happening now. I haven't been reading as much. I've been busy working at "Wally World".
