LOL! Thanks everyone! Please...make yourselves comfortable. I'll tell you a little bit about myself and if you like what you hear you can stick around even more. *grin* I'm a single mum of two rodents boys; Thing 1 is 11 and Thing 2 is 8. I've been divorced for just over 4 years and while I went through and extremely difficult time with it, God got me through it beautifully and I am in a much better point of my life. We just got our first house together (yea!) and are having a blast getting all settled in and decorating. I don't do a whole lot outside of work and the boys and my church but that's good enough for me. Although my best friend, (whom I call Kyoudai) and I run a small Bible study together and it's turned into an amazing life changing event. We minister to my boys and two girls, one 14 and one 19. They came from...less than stellar homes and while the 14 year old's parents are involved in church the way they raise their girls is "If they aren't hurting anyone it's okay". Flea (the 14 year old) seems to be seeking...something and Kyoudai and I are trying to help her find it. The 19 year old (Llama) acts like a typical 13 year old and is struggling to find her place in this world. In the short amount of time we've been working with them, Llama has been making huge efforts to mature and grow and I'm extremely proud of the steps she's made. As soon as I'm able to afford it, I've decided to "hire" the girls to help me out around the house a little bit, and stuff like that. Help them earn some money, help me out around the house, and also help them with responsibility. Kyoudai and I take them many places and we always pay so he figured this would be a good way to help them help us help them. Did that make sense? Also...something huge to tell you (although it's only huge to me. *giggle*). Kyoudai is probably the closest thing to a 'partner' that I have ever met. HOWEVER God spoke very clearly to the two of us that we are not meant to be together so that made life just a bit easier and we are able to work together with no pressure. Oookay...I've babbled enough. On to decorating!!! *dances away*
