* Uh, no, but then it's been a loooong time since I had one.

This was a good weekend for me. Better than I thought it would be. There were a few stressful moments but it could have been worse I suppose.
I did talk to Thing 2's dad again last night *sigh* I think I'm being a complete...well, female dog about thig but I'm not sure. Here's the thing.
We were talking about how good looking Thing 2 is, and how he was voted "Hottest Boy in Second Grade" last year. Yes I know...sad but whatever. The Things and I talk about dating a lot and we are all in agreement that dating is for those who are older and ready to marry, not middle schoolers, and not high schoolers. I told Thing 2's dad all of this and he was cool with it, but I have a feeling he'll try to encourage Thing 2 otherwise.
Well, when I said something about how good looking he (Thing 2) is and he said something like, "Well, he gets that from me you know." and I said, "Riiiiight..."  and then he was like, "Well you were attracted to me at one point." at which I was quiet.
Here's the thing. I have never been the type of person to date people based on looks. I will date someone whose mind and humour I enjoy. And quite frankly when I was dating him was a very low time in my life and I would date anyone who paid attention to me (Long story and I'm not getting into it) so I honestly can't say I was ever attracted to him. *shrug*
I guess my biggest problem is that here is this idiot stepping in taking credit for a child that he had nothing to do with for over 8 years and it's bugging the tar out of me. I want to scream that he has no right to say stupid things like that, but...I don't.
I am being unreasonable, aren't I?
I just want him to go away and let Thing 2 figure things out on his own, but here he is pressing for a relationship. *sigh*
I know, I know...baby mommy.
