As to the OP, no I don't tell God that life or an aspect of life s*cks. Actually, I don't even use that word at all. I do think that we can and should express to Our Lord all of our frustrations; but I don't think we should ever hold Him accountable for whatever "it" is; nor do I think that we should use crude or vulgar language to Him, when expressing such emotions. Once. Just once, I did that during a time of prayer. I used words that I don't even use in my normal course of speech. And the conviction I felt from Our Lord's Holy Spirit was almost unbearable. Our Lord is Our Lord. He is Our King. We are always to revere and respect Him. I was thinking about this thread earlier this morning. And forgive me, please, if this has already been mentioned; I usually read a thread in it's entirety, but I have only read the last few pages of this one. In Matthew 6, Jesus talks very specifically about prayer (verses 5-15). Specially, He said: This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your Name, Your Kingdom come, Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one. Matthew 6:9-13
