Please pray for my new twin nieces. They were born Sunday morning at 35 weeks and are having heart problems because they aren't eating. I'm not there to understand what is going on but I covet your prayers for them.

Father we pray for these precious twins. Open the doors of communication with family and friends so they will know how to pray more specifically, and what they might do to help with the practical needs of this family. We ask that these babies will be healthy and well, that you would comfort mom and dad and family and help them at this difficult time. Be their strength and there joy. Surround them with people that will encourage them and minister to them and their little ones, people that will pray and seek you on their behalf. People that will help with any other needs whether preparing meals, caring for other children if necessary, tending their home, mowing the grass, financial help, every practical need that may arise. In the name of Jesus.

Most of all surround this family with your love Father. Put your arms around them Jesus and assure them that you are very near. Bless this aunt for her great love and compassion for her family. Turn every negative thing concerning what has happened into a powerful testimony of your Goodness Lord. Everything the enemy meant for evil in this attack of sickness, we declare that God will bring a greater joy and miracles. In the name of Jesus. Thank you Father. Amen.

Lord, send in the best Dr.'s and specialists to help these two twins to thrive!! I know that my friend had triplet boys, who are now 20 years old, that were so very small born at 6 months...and made it.
I believe YOU alone, took these kids to maturity.
In fact they all have little babies of their own, and are young fathers!!

May these twins have a wonderful life ahead of them, (just like Keota's boys did!!)

Funny_girl,
I know from experience that what prayer and the doctors and nurses in the NICU's can do for these precious miracles from God can do . My b/g twins were born at 33 weeks. He weighed 4lbs 2oz and she was 2lbs 9oz. In two weeks exactly they will be 12 yrs old and for the most part healthy (he has asthma but it is very mild). Not meaning we did not have our struggles but with faith and strength in God anything is possible.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for funny_girl's preemie twin nieces, the doctors& nurses and the girls' family, and all those around them to give the girls healing. And all the patience and comfort they need during this storm in life. Give the docs& nurses the knowledge of the correct treatment and reassuringg words to loved ones. I know You are mighty and all powerful and Your will abounds always. Lord, I thank you and love you that you have placed yet another set of twins upon this earth but most of all that You had Your Son come to earth as a babe also to grow in this world to ultimately be able to sacrifice Him on the cross for us. Again Lord, I pray for your will.

Thank you everyone for your loving and caring prayers. Grandma e-mailed this afternoon that the twins are starting to suck! They are only taking 1/3 of the nourishment from a feeding tube now! That's quite an improvement.

When their Daddy called on the 15th, he was very concerned. They weren't receiving enough nourishment and their little heart beat had dropped dangerously low. The doctor had told them if it happened again they would be in serious danger. Praise the Lord they're started to suck on their own! Those of you that have had multiples or preemies, know how scary this stage is!

I was praying as I was reading about your little nieces. I've got triplet nieces/nephew and I certainly know the fear and unknown from a loving aunt's standpoint. Your last post brought tears to my eyes. Praise the Lord for He is good!
