I won't argue either way. But "sent out, prayed for, hands laid on, and prophesied over" doesn't replace a simple call of God to go. It's not mine to say whether there was a call or not. Nor is it mine to say that anyone really HAD to beg for gas money had the people of the church been a little less tight on their money... But I will say that I have never seen anywhere in scripture that God sent someone and did not provide what they needed.

You're right of course. I just didn't want you to get stranded. I tend to be more blunt when I'm tired and I had a swelling knee that I somehow twisted on top of that. That church = 20 year old bad memories that grumbled up somehow. So enough on them.

I like your avatar.

Thank you! And I won't get stranded. God will take care of everything I need. My part is to trust him and do what He says, not what I wanna do.

Just remember that God provides in many ways: one of which is foresight to plan ahead.

Well, it's FRIDAY!!!!!!

It's been a long week and I can't wait to head home from work...

It has truly been an interesting week...

Don't get me wrong. I love school, but there have been a few mornings I just didn't want to MOVE...

I went to bed with a migraine and woke up with a headache. It didn't help that Thing 2 kept coming in my room, "Mum...I'm bored...Mum, I'm hungry...Mum, I'm cold..."

I went to talk to a friend about you-know-what and said I needed to do that on Sunday and just get it over with.

I think I stressed myself out.

And no...I don't expect you to know what I'm talking about. But you do know so it's all good.

Can I do a drive-by whine?

Thanks...

What part of lunch break do people not understand?

Tracking. And you're right. You stressed yourself out. Just remember. You don't have to actually make anything happen. Just be yourself.

And Phosy, I don't know why people don't understand the concept of a lunch break. But it's pretty much a universal thing.

I don't have to make anything happen, but I can't sit by and let opportunity pass and then spend the rest of my wondering, what if...

I took a test this morning... Aced that one.

And I've been working on a sermon today too...
