This sounds interesting. I think we can develop a new show for H&G TV Remodel My Thread

Well, that can be serious business. If you ever decide to sell your thread, you will want to make sure you have decorated it just so or no one will want to buy it...

Decorating in only one style is just way to boring....
So is that why you brought lime green shag carpeting with you?

Being around here almost makes me think I should do something about my place, but don't think I will just yet. Not sure what I want.

I kinda wonder how creative the ladies can be with a baseball dugout.

Baseball dugouts and fields must be left standard.

While the base path dimensions are standard, the outfield dimensions of each park are different.

In the dugout the standard accouterments are benches and bat racks, but there can be variety in material composition.

Really! I didn't know that! You know, somehow that doesn't seem quite right.

I mean..no changin of the field colors or fuzzy things in the dugout....and shag carpet would not work with all the spittin and whatnot that goes on in there.

Good morning Dude & Loverly

Dude...I feel your pain on the schooling. I was employed full time with a full time college schedule and 2 full time kids. Sleep was optional

According to a post in M&E I did not do that and you did not do it either. You see it is just impossible to carry a full course load and work full time. Gee I wish she had told me that 30 years ago. I probably would have given up.

So when I graduated on the Dean's List....was that just a dream ..... or an out of body experience due to lack of sleep?
I guess I should have just thrown in the towel too

Personally, I think there's a reason most of us went to college when we were 18-22. Sleep deprivation and exhaustion seemed much easier back then...

I lacked the drive for hard work like that when I was 18-22. I had to go through the hard knocks of life first

I got into a short debate a few days ago with someone in M&E. One of the mods had made a post about being independent and supporting ones self while going to college. The other poster came back with the statement that she had heard a lot about people who did that but had never met one. I introduced my self. Told her I had worked 40 to 48 hours carried a full course load in college, and was married and had children. All of this while I was in college and graduated with a 3.96 out of a 4.0 system. She wanted to argue with me.

That would explain why she never met anyone who worked & went to college at the same time. She apparently knows more about people's lives than they do...

I guess that some people just like to argue to hear themselves type! Perhaps you should get a copy of your schedules from college and ask your employer and family to fill out affidavits in support of your college experience

It just wasn't worth the effort. I was just trying to make a point of If someone really wanted to do it they could. Not easy but can be done. I don't think I got the point across.
