John 1.14: "full of grace and truth".

The Lord Jesus Christ was full of grace. He was full of truth. It has been said that He held truth without legality (or legalism) and grace without compromise.

Hi, thnx.

I think so much is contained in a short phrase like that, isn't there?

The old prayer book would speak of 'mark, read and inwardly digest' the Word. The art of conversational discussion and meditation is valuable, I think, especially when it is centred on the Person of Christ.

One of my favorite verses! Jesus - "full of grace and truth". Oh what wondrous grace, what wondrous grace! Jesus Christ of Nazareth - the epitomy of grace.

Can one imagine themselves watching this One as out of His mouth the kindest words ever spoken were given to needy soul after needy soul? Can one imagine one look into those eyes brimming with kindness, love and compassion; tenderness, mercy and understanding?

Grace and kindness, favor, blessing, joy and all that defines grace is found in the One who is full of grace and truth[:)]

Please feel free to come down and discuss The Lord Jesus Christ as much as you desire on my thread...I would love for you to participate there:

I am both "BelovedofGod" and "CherishedbyGod" there....

Yes, Amen.

"And all bare ..witness and wondered at the gracious words which proceeeded forth from his mouth."

His grace is more amazing to me now than 30 years ago when I first met Him...

Oh, dear soul! Come! Behold His grace!

It seems our longing increases as we go further on the journey Home.
