Anyone else at that age when relatives just start passing away every couple of months or so? It seems that's happening on my father's side of the family and it's sad. He has a large family so the odds are greater than in a smaller one, but it just seem like we get that phone call all too often lately. Are you mourning someones death or something else? Post a comforting scripture or thought.

2 Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; 4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

John 11:24-"Martha said to him, “I know that he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, 26 and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

"A grief suffered will ever be with us; only the sharpness of the pain can be dulled by the passage of time."(CS Lewis)

The Daily Bread has a great devotion on this today. Believers should have a, "See you later" attitude.[:D]
