Hey everyone....let's fill up the old one...just 3 pages from 100.

BBfan -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:14:12 PM)

Okay...I'm back...looks like we made it to page 101 and still going on the old thread but I decided to come over here and palaver....

BlessedAngel1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:15:21 PM)

Hey Lynn!

Are you liking the new house?

Hey Lynn!

Yep...still trying to fine tune things...
Why is it when you move you either have too much or not enough furniture??? Why is it when you move the curtains that were perfect in the last place don't work in the new one and you have to go out and buy both new curtains/valances and curtain rods??? Why is it when you move there is that one box you can never find and it has all or at least most of the decorating things you want???

BlessedAngel1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:21:10 PM)

I always lose things during a move.

Kerrlaw -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:23:54 PM)

Gonnabee by birth...

... palaverer by the grace of God.[sm=cooltilt.gif]

We did the move ourselves but my husband used our garage as the unloading spot and I think I need to go down there and sort through everything. I'm sure I will find what I need and then some. Now the furniture issue won't be solved in the garage...at least not mine. Our livingroom is huge and we don't have enough furniture to fill it. We barely had enough to fit the last one...we bought it for our livingroom in the house we sold in VA. It was a 1925 English Tudor and had a small or should say a narrow livingroom and it was perfect. It's almost like putting doll furniture in a regular size house now. I'm having to buy a car so most of our tax return is going towards the downpayment...in other words...the furniture issue will have to wait.

You could always by bean bags for the kiddos to sit on.

Already have those in their rooms![:D] They sit on the floor most of the time but it's the scale of the furniture to the room that makes it look lacking. I would love one of those sectional sofas with the chaise on one side. I've always been able to decorate and set up rooms very nicely but I'm beginning to think I could use the help of one of those HGTV shows!!![:D]

BBfan -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:31:43 PM)

Well...I'm going to call it a night...I'm getting very qwerty...I guess the sugar high from my chocolate cupcake is wearing off!!!
Talk to you all tomorrow!

BlessedAngel1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:31:46 PM)

That would be kinda cool!

BlessedAngel1983 -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 10:40:56 PM)

I missed Lynn leaving because I forgot to scroll up. I'm heading out to now that all the kids are in bed. Big day tomorrow!

Yard sales sometimes are a good place to buy nice used furniture. I saw some today off of Brandon Ave. Wish I had known you needed some.

Smokymtnsanta -> RE: Geezer's and Gonnabee's Palavering Through the Grace of Our Lord (4/19/2008 11:45:28 PM)

Good evening all. Did not go to Wal-Mart after work. Remembered the car show in town and did not want to get in that traffic.
Mrs. C. said there was an old hair dryer here somewhere.
