ORIGINAL: SGEnthusiast Thank you for the welcome back. I'm surprised anyone noticed my absence but it's always nice to be missed. [:)] The study on Noah sound interesting. I'm amazed that, no matter how many times I read through the Bible, there are always new things that jump out at me. That's part of what keeps Christianity exciting, though. There are always things God is teaching. I'm going through an in-depth study on Psalm 119 right now which has been really neat. I've read the book lots of times but to go through portion by portion and really take time to think about what David is saying in each verse is really neat. A few years ago, we were at a church and the congregation sang "Sweet Hour of Prayer." Afterward, a man commented that the writer must have had a special relationship with God to be able to write those words. That is probably true but it hit me that, really, spending an hour with God should be a privilege, not a chore. Maybe that's part of why David was called a "man after God's own heart," because he loved that uninterrupted time with the Lord. Having not posted in a while, I guess my heart's full of a lot that I haven't written down yet but hopefully the lengthiness of my posts doesn't get y'all hoping for another sabatical from me. [:D] Yes...we notice when one of our regulars are missing in action. Everyone was asking about you the other day...including myself. No...we enjoy your posts regardless of length and we do not wish you would go back on sabatical. {{{{Sony}}}}
