Anthony Burger, Garry Dilliard, Tim Surrett, and Greg Fox made the best SG band ever. [:)] quote:
ORIGINAL: PaulPate When The Kingsmen had a full band, (in the Anthony Burger days), they used a banjo quite a bit in their live performances. I don't know how many projects they had it on, but Daniel has probably covered them. Also, Tim Lovelace used to play banjo with The Florida Boys. Another song with banjo is "For All The Days That End In Why" by Poet Voices. I've always wondered WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING?[8D] No, I just don't understand why a banjo should be in a serious ballad. I heard another recent song on radio with a banjo, but can't think of the name right now. By the way, if you want to hear something absolutley bizzare, imagine the Hinson's song "That I Could Still Go Free" with a banjo playing in the verses. I've heard it before, and let's say that it wasn't the best idea. Another one is from Triumphant, something about a white flag.
