Jesus declared that there are three classes of people, Jews, Gentiles and the church. We the church have to keep an eye on each other until the end. His love is the standard for that comfort, not based upon what we feel, or judgemental hypocrites. The battle we are experiencing is one of spiritual truth, and against an enemy we can't see. We are all on the road through the narrow gate to get to the throne which is when we finish our race(yea)!
I have never been in a flesh war, but thinking that when people get hurt in war that their friends will not even think about themselves and try to get to their friend and get him to safety, or that others will carry them to safety. We as the church body must do the same with our brothers and sisters, we some have fallen or get hurt we need to get them to safety, whether by prayer or by carrying them to a placed of healing, in either case we are to help each other until we have reached the throne. No one is going to escape being attacked.

Some Names of God:

Certain and True (Rev. 19:11 BBE)

the Shepherd & Overseer of your souls (1Pt.2:25 NIV)

God = the justifier of him, the one who has faith in Jesus (Rom.3:26d NKV/ASV)

I for one am not particularly thrilled with the outcome of the elections, but am reminded that the Bible instructs us to pray for all those in authority ... and that means whether we like who's in charge or not.

I am much encouraged that God is ultimately in control, and am reminded again that as believers we are just pilgrims passing through this land.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1 Timothy 2:1-4

The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook. - Proverbs 18:4

The bubbling brook just sounds so much more enticing! [:)]

I like this verse! Thanks for posting it.
quote:

The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook. - Proverbs 18:4

I would just like to add, for anyone out there that is dealing with a difficult past. Give the LORD all of the pain, regret, bottles up emotions, etc. You don't have to carry this heavy weight anymore. Pour out your heart to Him. Tears are refreshing. With Jesus your future is bright.
Jesus loves you.
Love, Ignited-Faith
