Steve Carell is one of the best actors ever, he makes me laugh so hard. This is one of his newer movies I guess, as my Dad rented it last weekend. It is so funny, any thoughts?

I liked it but I think it would have been better without some stuff that caused it be an R rating. I enjoyed the family dynamics on the movie.
Btw, have you seen Dan in real life? More on Steve on this movie than Little Miss Sunshine.

Jo, I don't think it would have been the same if they took out the "R" stuff. I don't care for cursing and know that we shouldn't do it, but I really liked the movie because I think it portrayed many families, even some christian ones.

This instantly became one of my favorite movies. The characters are so dynamic, and their development throughout the movie was just flawlessly done.

The camera shots were simple, clean, and visually appealing.

Plus, I laughed throughout the whole thing.
