Father, There are elderly in America and in every country in the world who have no resources to get the food and medication they need. Many do not even have heating oil for the winter. And many do not have any family to help them. I am praying for all of these dear ones, that you will send helpers to provide for them. Increase resources for the many organizations that try to meet their needs as their resources are being sorely strained right now due to the world economy. Let each one of us reach out to the elderly in our own communities and open our hearts and our purse. How sad it is, Lord, to reach the end of your life and not be able to have the most basic needs met. Lift them up and encourage them. Give them strength and comfort. Bring to salvation all of those who do not know Jesus so that they realize the finest banquet is being prepared in Heaven for them. In Jesus name I ask these things, Amen.

Praying for the elderly tonight. I pray that they have loving, caring, wonderful family and friends around to support and love them, let them feel loved and needed and wanted, they are a blessing!!! amen kc

[sm=angel.gif] dear father, there are so many elderly, that are forgotten about, but you dont forget one of them. keep them close to you, and let them know you are close.that you love them, and their not alone as long as they have you. in jesus name i pray amen.

I pray for the elderly tonight. I pray that they are surrounded by family and friends who love them, support them, care for them, and who respect them..They are such a blessing to us all.... amen kc

Praying for the loneliness of the elderly. Oh God, I don't know what to ask for, as this is a terrible all encompassing problem. Please send FRIENDS, even if they are ministering angels. HELP, dear Lord. THANK YOU FATHER.

You see the needs of the caregivers as they pour themselves out for those that they love, the elderly in their lives. Return a precious blessing back to them today, a glimpse of how much they have blessed others reflected back upon them this week. You know their hearts, their needs, their joys... reach into their lives and into their beings and let them know how pleasing they are to you, how very precious they are as they are Christ to the elderly, your hands and feet and voice. Whether they need encouragement, refreshing, a new car, a house payment, some shoes that would bless them for your glory in some crazy way... we are all so unique... look upon the caregivers and bless them real good today... as well as the precious ones that they are caring for. Father, Give the caregivers strength and compassion today. Lift up the elderly so their pain and discomfort will be better. Bless their lives today with visits from loved ones or friends. Give friends to those without anyone. Give hope to them even as they live out their last days. All things are possible with You, Lord. Thank you for hearing and answering prayer. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
