Thank you Father for remembering the elderly. They remain just as precious to you as the day you created them as babies on this earth. They are your children, and you are with them always. Please continue to complete the good works that you have begun in them, bless them in every way, and bless all that they set their hand to. Fill their lives with purpose and great joy in their latter days. Surround them with friends and family to love them and to care for them and to glean from their wisdom and their talents. You see the deepest needs of their heart, physically and spiritually, we ask that you meet every need according to your wisdom and your mercy and your goodness. Assure them of your love for them, that you are pleased with them. Hug them Lord as only you can. In the name of Jesus. Amen <3

I am praying in agreement with all of these.

Bless the elderly, surround them with your love and peace.

Give them comfort.

Send them sweet caregivers.

Send them compassionate medical professionals.

Let their last days be near to your heart, and let each of them feel your loving arms around them.

Also bless and comfort their families and give them assurance that you are holding their loved one close.

Please pray for the elderly concerning their own families to have patience and take the time to sit and visit with them longer and more often, those in nursing homes. Also, that more people would heed the calling to go out and find people who want visitors in nursing homes. Thankyou.

Father, in agreement with the above prayer, asking that You would lay it on peoples hearts to care for and visit and help the elderly. That You would use us to bless them, and that You would meet and surpass they're every need. Thank You Lord. Amen

Dear Lord, thank You so much that You sent someone else along to talk to my mom about her home and other things. That was a miracle from you because I was not up to doing it. Help her to be open and receptive, to see the love in people wanting to help her. Let good decisions be made for all. Amen.

Father,

I bring all of the elderly before Your Throne of Grace today.
Give them comfort and peace and healing.
Give them strength and help them know how much you love them.
Give their families encouragement and hope.
Tend to their pain and make it go away.
Bring any of them who are lost to your salvation.
Give each caregiver compassion and tenderness.
Bless the elderly and their caregivers today.
Protect them from the evil one.

Jesus,
I pray for my dear tiny aunt Donna. She proclaimed Your name in youth, but was married to and followed a Christian Scientist for over 45 years. Now Lord, she has Alsheimers pretty severly.
God, I don't know if she meant her profession of faith to You so many years ago, but I pray that You will speak to her now in a way she can hear and understand unlike anyone else can, and bring her to You.
God, You know her mind. Please help her in her frail, aged state to seek peace that can only come from a personal relationship with You.

I pray for my wife's mother and for my mother, both of whom are in their 90s and are weak. Thank you for their lives. Please give them personal blessings of your choosing. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving long life to some people. Please help them so that they can be encouraged...so that their grief for lost friends will not overwhelm them...so that they will be valuable sources of wisdom for those of us who are younger than they...so that their age will be a blessing to all. We pray for them in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
