I agree. Lord, for the caregivers, bless them with understanding and with knowing how to react in all situations. Help them to be tender in their role that sometimes can be so frustrating. Amen.

Yes, please give the elderly hope and joy. Use their experience and us the lessons they have learned to help others.

Lord, I lift up all the elderly to you, all who may be alone, ill or in a home. I pray that they feel your love overflowing around them, give them strength, comfort and wisdom to continue to grow close to you and that they are not alone.. praying in your precious name amen kc

yes, Father, we pray for the elderly today. Touch their bodies and renew their strength. Bring healing and comfort to any pain that they may be feeling in their joints or just in basic body functions or daily living. Let them not be overwhelmed as their bodies are aging. Make them able to perform the desires of their heart, give them new exciting desires, continue to lead them in the way that they should go. They are just as precious and just as valid as they have ever been Encourage their hearts, fill their lives with fellowship and purpose and opportunity. Help those who are aging to balance all things according to your wisdom and your love. Let them be their age with Godly pride and honor, to walk in the reality of being elderly with boldness and confidence, not depressed or discouraged or with a sense of loss or dread. Fill them with your joy and hope and expectation of all that you continue to plan for them on this earth and in the joys that await them in the next life... just as you always have and always will... whether old or young. Silence the voice of the enemy, and let your Holy Spirit speak to their hearts of your goodness and how much you love them and all that you have planned for them still to perform now and forever. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

I care for my elderly mother. She is very close to me and my best friend. Praise the lord that she is doing well. She loves her newspaper everyday, and is constantly talking about world events. I pray that she can be with me for awhile.

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; in agreement for the protection of all the elderly. Lord, I saw on the news today, where an elderly couple were beaten and robbed. The bruises that appeared on those fragile little bodies, broke my heart Lord. Thank You for sparing their lives and for helping them to recover. Lord, I know You see it all; and I'm asking that Your mercy be extended to all these precious souls. You, Lord; are the only 'One' that some of these elderly folks still have. Blessed be Your Wonderful name; in knowing that 'YOU' are all they'll ever really need! Please, intervene on their behalf, Sweet Jesus! May they feel safe and secure in knowing, that they have nothing to fear in Your presence! Send angels to their bedsides with Holy entertainment. Open their ears to hear the glorious songs of Allelujah's being sung, by Your Holy Choir of angels! Sooth their anxieties with the voices from Heaven, like a balm of healing!
