yes Father, bless the elderly today. Encourage their hearts, help them not to doubt you in their latter years. Renew their faith, renew their strength, multiply it beyond that of their youth. Aging is a part of life, but it does not have to be a sad or painful time of life. Rather it is a time of joy and fulfillment and excitement. Let it be so for the elderly today. If they do not have a support system among their family and friends, then Father, help them to see your hand at work in their life. Help them to lean upon your shoulder, help them to hear your wise counsel in your Word and by your Spirit. Help them to feel your arms around them, your comfort and affection, your shouts of joy as they rejoice over the good things you continue to pour into their lives. Walk with them, commune with them, shower them with divine kisses. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

In Jesus' name I ask that the elderly experience your goodness and know for a fact that you are good beyond our ability to understand. Amen.

O Father, be with the elderly, the sick, the disabled today. We are nothing without You Lord. Give them hope in You. Give them encouragement and laughter also please. Help them as You see is needed and You know is best, and may it bring praise and honor and glory to You Lord. In Jesus name. Amen

Lord, I lift up the elderly unto you. Stand by them I do pray.

"When I'm growing old and feeble, stand by me".

A couple of weeks ago, I met a 92 year old woman in the nursing home where I hold a service. She was such an inspiration. She had written a song, and sang it to us. She testified, and said, "the Lord sent me here cause He has a work for me to do. I'm 92 but He still uses me".

Dear Father, please help the elderly, the lonely, the ill, the disabled, the hopless. Fill they're hearts with Your joy Lord. Meet they're needs. Send helpers Lord. May Your will be done. Amen

I ask in Jesus' name that you help the elderly to be comforted and strengthened by knowing for a certainty that you are with them. Amen.

Father, we agree together for the elderly to be blessed today. If they are in physical pain in any way, we ask that you would bring relief and healing. We ask that you would clear their minds and their thoughts and bring focus back to their thoughts. We ask that you would fill their lives with people that cherish them, who need them, who are attentive to their wisdom and excited about learning the skills that they have perfected in their lifetime. Protect them from anyone that would try to bring them harm or that would attempt to rob them in any way. Walk with them and fill their lives with joy and peace and the desire of their hearts. Give them the words to tell of your goodness and open doors for divine encounters for them to continue in fulfilling the Great Commission that you have called them to. In the name of Jesus. Thank you Father. Amen.

Move upon the hearts of those that have been blessed by the elderly... remind them to love them back and to minister to them in their latter years. Put the elderly on the heart and in the minds of those that know them, and cause people to reach out to their elders... to thank them, to bless them, to fellowship with them in love and ministry as the Holy Spirit leads. It's so hard for youth to understand the courage that the elderly have...even when they complain about their sufferings. It's hard for youth to fully realize that getting old is not for sissies. Please use the youth to encourage the elderly by showing them respect and kindness. We ask this in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.

You know them and you know what will overwhelm them with laughter, or what will warm them with a smile on their face, you know what will calm and refresh them. We ask that you would send it according to your mercy and your wisdom. Comfort them and fill their life with purpose and much contentment each and every day.

Send people into their lives to be your hands and arms and feet. Give them the right words to speak, cause them to wrap their arms around them with gentle hugs and with gentle kisses. Raise up people in their lives who will watch over them in their age, who will care for them and who will guard them from anyone that would try to bring any harm whatsoever. Send your angels to watch over them and remind them of your faithfulness as they meditate on your word day and night. In the name of Jesus. Amen. Thank you heavenly Father.
