Father,

In Jesus' name I ask that you help all Pastors to let you be the wind in their sails instead of straining to do the job themselves. Amen.

Let all the pastors preach love and forgiveness, and not worry so much about other things. Inspire them with the Sermon on the Mount! :)

Father I pray that you would give all pastors boldness to preach your word of salvation. Give them the courage of conviction, and the peace that you are with them at all times, even when the message is not popular.

Father, Please cause congregations to encourage their pastors, send them notes of thanks, show appreciation in many ways.

Just like Moses delegated his responsibility, help the pastors and church folk work together so that the pastor isn't burnt out. Please help the deacons and elders and others in the congregations to support the pastor in their duties by taking some of the work off of them by visiting new comers, those in the hospital, and grieving folks, etc. Please help the congregations to remember that the pastor is just human and can't be there for everyone 24/7.

Help the pastors to have boldness in speaking the gospel, please protect them from attacks of the enemy as they speak. Help them to encourage their congregations and inspire them to good works through reminding them what is theirs through Christ and Your great love and mercy for them.

Father,

Please help church Pastors as they receive confidential, personal information from and about individuals.
The necessity of holding this information inside of themselves can become a heavy weight to carry.
Please be their strength.
Help them to cope well with the responsibility of holding confidences.
Help them so that they can deal with the problems of individuals without those problems becoming wearisome to the Pastors.
We are praying for all Pastors in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

I am continuing to pray for all pastors and my parents church..
They did decide to leave their church because it has gotten worse over this past week and they do not want to deal with it anymore, it has almost become a competition as to who will lead the church and who is in charge. It is just ridiculous and very sad!!

Those who lead us in our Churches have high callings from You, and a lot of room to fall. I ask now that You will touch our pastors and church leaders with safety, and protection of their hearts that they may not fall from grace.

AMEN. Help people to realize these are human beings! Pastors are not immune to hurt and pain and criticism. Help them be strong but soft as a lamb in their hearts.
