Ok, time for a serious thread.


What do you do to show Christ's love to the world? Why in particular do you do those things?
What do you think about when you are doing them?
And what should we be doing?

put christian tracks on vechlies and also witnessing and telling others about Christ and what he did for us all on the cross.

I give, whatever it is, whether it be money or time, or anything else.

I think of that verse...."what you do to the least of these, you have done to me". I don't remember what verse it is...

i think we should just do what God moves in us to do. He moves me to be giving.

someone who got it said this: "at all times preach the gospel, and if necessary use words." That means don't just talk about it, live it.

We certainly don't do enough, that's for sure.

I try to be the best mentor to the young, Christian males that are so sex driven and hormonally enraged. I know from my teenage experience, our culture is one to promote sex as a form of achievable manhood. It's so easy to fall into. More now than it's ever been in history. Too many teenagers are falling into as early as 10-11 yrs. old. It's one of the worst corruptive drugs to become addicted to. It's divided a proper love and respect for the opposite sex to where both genders now treat one another like eye candy, and that's intolerable. I hope to set a positive example in my relationship like my youth pastor did for me.

I try to befriend people. Kids don't need a traveling preacher, they need a leader, and most importantly, someone who cares about them.

I'm always willing and open to any mouth that wants to speak. All I have to offer is my feeble words in return.

I love people, like Christ would love them. As unconditionally as I know how to. I do it because I don't have a lot to offer to the world right now, but I sure know the need to be loved, and I have lots of love to give to everyone. I also listen to people, and if they ask my advice, which happens quite a bit, because I seem trustworthy, I'll try to direct them in the way that Christ would have them go.
I do it because I love people. I don't think that I'm doing my "good deed for the day". I just want to have Christ's heart.
As for things I should be doing, I suppose I should be directly witnessing more to people. But I don't really feel qualified yet.

Well I love kids, especially 4&5 year olds and junior high and early highschool girls. I like to mentor them and be a good role model for them, I want to start a discipleship group for girls in 7-9 grade, I teach 4&5 year olds for Vacation Bible School at our church in the summer, but hopefully this summer I will be a camp counselor at a Christian camp with girls in 4-6 grade yay!![:D] So really I show Christ's love to children mostly because they are my passion, I just love them and their innocence. I do want to be able to witness more effectively to adults though, because hey they need it just as much as kids! I just have an easier time with kids[;)]

Well being in a Christian band would be sweet. I want to play guitar so next year I can play well enough to play for Chapel day, which is every Thursday as my school. Right now I'm just making random stuff using GarageBand loops. Haha

i have never been in a band before i dont think but i sing with the piano, tamborine, drums, and also theres guitar but the piano, tamborine, and drums r the most that we have in the service at church is that a band or not? and maybe ya'll would like/love to hear my voice ^-^

i just try to love people and be an example of Christ's love. i love helping people and i do alot of volunteer stuff, especially working with kids.

i completely agree with this. showing Christ's love shouldn't be defined as handing out tracts, going on missions trips, etc etc. those things are good, but living your life purely and as God would want you to is one of the best things you can do.
