M family doctor wants me to see an oncologist, actuallly she was adamant about it. She saw the report on the cancer that they found and something in the description made her think that it could come back in the future somewhere else in my throat. She said that she didn't want me to come in five years from know battling another cancer, lets say on my tonsils, or something. She thinks that it needs to be kept an eye on.

My neice had the same thing when she had her cancer removed. She has had several years of treatment, but has been cancer free now for 4 years. The treatment was one that was done once a years and only consited of taking 2 very big pills each time. We will be praying for you. Please, let us know when you will see the doctor.

Amen to that!
I don't mind answering questionns. just don't really know the answers yet. The type of cancer cells that I had where what concerned my Dr (although my endo didn't mentions anything about it which makes me glad that I will be going elsewhere). I will keep you updated.

Got this in my e-mail....
Bill was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was REALLY
angry.
She told him, "To make up for your thoughtlessness, tomorrow morning I expect to
find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 seconds AND
IT BETTER BE THERE!!"
The next morning Bill got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up she
looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle
of the driveway. It wasn't as large as she expected but she put on her robe and
ran out to the driveway, confident the box probably contained a set of keys.
She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.
Bill has been missing since Friday.
Please pray for him.

I would not have DARED buy my Loverly a scale if she asked for something that goes from 0-200 in 6 seconds. I'm crazy, but I'm not STOOPID.

I agree. (And Dude's use of the word "beautiful" was absolutely in context and I'm sure it will be received with precisely the intent in which it was delivered.)

Sharon-Marie, are you a professional photographer? I thought I remembered something about you having a business like that in Wyoming.
My middle son is becoming a professional photog and his stuff is really good. I'll put a link on as soon as I find where he's been putting it on the web. He's been making some extra money lately doing senior photos. He's putting all his $$$ aside for going to college in Chicago next fall. I'll miss him, but I'm so excited that he's getting to go.

I must confess that I was talking about making the football coaches breakfast the other night. One of them looked at me and said I don't eat eggs. Without thinking I said, "So, do you want toast instead?". I about died.

, but it is good they want you to take steps now while you are cancer free. Did a specific tumor marker come back elevated in the biopsy or blood work? Only answer that if you're comfortable. I'm a lab tech and if I can help shed some light on a lab result for you, let me know.
