Our dog was just hit by a car. It is hard to tell how bad it is, but she can walk ok. Fred and mom are taking Lucky to an emergency clinic.

She is a really good dog.

Just said a prayer for a safe drive to the clinic and that your furry baby would not feel much pain and would make a full recovery.

No, not yet. It takes about an hour to get where they are going... maybe less because the roads will be clear. Anyway, it is going to take a while. To me there are those pets that are a neusance, and pets that are really all blessing. Lucky is all blessing. we didn't pick her out. She was my aunt and uncles dog. We just babysat. They called us one day and asked if we wanted her because they weren't able to cae for her anymore. Because we already knew how good a dog she was and how well she fit in, we were able to say yes right away. I couldn't have picked a better dog if I tried. She is perfect for our family, and easy to love.

Thank you for your prayers. It looks like Lucky is just bruised. Mom and Fred didn't have x-rays done because she was out and running around. They gave her some meds to help her along and sent her home. I am so glad.

It just seems like when it rains it pours. If Lucky had died... I don't know. I just didn't want to add something like that to the list.
