I have a freelance writing business. As I'm young, it's still getting established, but I make a decent bit of money doing it part-time.

I am still looking for the right business to get into.

I have always worked as an electrical control engineer and now as a Pastor.
I would like to be out on my own, kids are almost out of the house.
Just have yet to find the perfect thing.

Don't mind working with my hands, thought about some kind of service business.

My wife and I own her hair saloon, so we do have one buisness.

I run a tutoring business. I have about 20 tutors that I send out to meet clients in their homes, while I serve as the "middle man," coordinating the services, billing the clients, and paying the tutors. I really love it!

We have a few businesses and starting your own business is the way to go, ONLY if God calls you to it. Where God guides He provides. His grace for us is in His plan. I have had business ventures fail because God was not in it, and have had businesses explode because His hand is all over it. Be lead by God in all your business ventures, don't be lead by dollar signs or potential opportunity.

I began my own Resume' writing business. I began my career as a Recruiter and found that I had to re-write so many resumes that I learned to do it very well. Lately, I am giving classes as well. The hardest part for me about owning my own business is motivation. They say that resumes are right up there with tax returns, and after I complete an assignment I am mentally worn out and find it hard to get motivated again. If anyone needs tips on resume writing or job interviews, I'll be happy to see if I can help.

I need to find something full-time, but for the last 5-6 years I've been going to craft shows, selling the soaps I make (and lotions, lip balms, etc.), crocheted items, and sometimes canning stuff. I don't think I could make enough for it to be my sole source of income though. :(

I'd love to have a little shop of some sort, or have some kind of business where I could work for myself and pay all the bills too.

I'm in the process of starting my own pastry shop. I'm just selling truffles through the restaurant I work part time at right now, but I hope to open my own shop up someday, maybe after I have kids.
