Did you finish House?

Yes! In less than 24 hours. It was very good but don't read it at night when you're by yourself.

The book I mentioned earlier is called :
When women walk alone, by Cindi McMenaman

Thanks! I'm going to look for it.

Did you ever read something that you knew was the truth, but you fought it tooth and nail. I am usually a lover of truth. When I read something and it agrees with the word of God and in my Spirit I know its true, I usually rejoice. Not this time. I see the truth. It is right there in front of me and I hate it. This has never happen to me before. It is truly frustrating to say the least.

Yes. I can't remember specifically what it was anymore but I know I've experienced just that. One of those things that was going to shatter a bunch of other things I thought I had all neatly tied up and I did not want that. I've referred to it as "being shaken" and consider it to be another refining thing like pruning and going through the fire. No fun at all.

It is no fun at all! Usually I can look at something God is doing and even when It is painful I can see a reason for it somehow.....not this time....at least not yet.

I am not sure how it would work on here or if anyonw would really be interested, but the more I read this book the more I think it would make a good Book Club book. The problem with book clubs is I always read ahead and then I have to go back and reread in order to discuss the chapter we are on.
Just thinking outloud here. I think I will post a link to the book and see if anyone is interested.

Feel free to hang out in the Wood and think. It's nice and cool under the trees and if you want to be truly inspired, you can climb one and take in the view.

I'd be interested, Nadine. I'll hold off getting the book until you see if others are interested. Otherwise, I'll read it and have to go back and reread to discuss, too.

Did I respond? I can't remember. I had to go to a really boring meeting. Then I responded to someone's post, which I had started before going to the boring meeting, and now I finished, and - wow - you know how sometimes it's emotionally draining? Yeah. One of those.

Did I mention the meeting was boring? They're changing programs on us again. They didn't really tell me anything useful. I will learn it as I use it. Which is pretty typical.

Um ... there was a point to what I was saying.

Yes.

Yes, I would like to read the book (I have ordered it ) and participate in the discussion of it. Are you going to start a thread on it? Perhaps over in the Women's folder?

Why do they insist upon wasting my time? I have reading and posting to do between projects.

I really liked my MIL's blog this week so I thought I would share it with ya'll.
You have to imagine a strong Italian Accent. We don't edit wording for her, just spelling because we want her personality to come through.
She calls her blog, her blob. Too funny.
