Movie I walked out of JFK not angrey just the boardom factor, It was making me sleepy and I still had to go to work after it.
The one that would have made me angry enough to walk out would have been BewitchedRented it free (thank goodness) from the library. I can not think of any other movie that the only word to describe it is" SUCKED" any worse would be too profane and any others like stunk doesnt do it justice. I tried to be a will farrell fan but I am not. hes better in minor roles not staring.
And I am afraid he is going to destroy another tv character. He is in the works right now (probably destroying) a childhood fav. He is playing Marshal in a film version of Land of the Lost
And let me add to almost leaving the theater brain dead from loosing brain cells watching Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure, and the saddest part I went back for the sequil.

As others have mentioned, it hasn't happened yet to me either, though I have fallen asleep in the theatre during a film. The Firm, with Tom Cruise. I think it was about a corrupt law firm or something, not sure, couldn't keep my eyes open and snoozed through at least two-thirds of it. So far it's the only movie that's put me to sleep while at the theatre.

Hasn't happened yet, but I try to see movies that will have some redeeming quality, so I really don't see a lot of movies.

Me too.

There have been some that I've rented and wound up not watching the whole thing because it was so bad. The Horse Whisperer and the remake of Miracle on 34th Street are the only ones that I can remember doing that with, but I know I've done it with others too.

Lynch's version of Dune. What a dog's breakfast that was.

A horrible horrible movie made worse by the fact I'd actually read the book beforehand.

Tacky, tasteless, grotesque, badly acted and worst of all, completely inaccurate!

Bleh!

I would have walked out on Water World only I rented it. I just turned it off. WW has got to be the most boring movie in history. Bless his heart for trying, but Kevin Costner just cannot act.

Sixteen Candles, only the main reason we walked out of it had more to do with 8 of us high schoolers being at the movie with both my pastor and associate pastor and their wives! However, I think we girls who were there did kind of want to sink into the floor. I believe our pastor got our money refunded or at least tried to. I know we ended up going bowling instead.

Can I pick a movie that made me so mad BEFORE I even got to the theater that I chose not to see it?

Expelled.

I truly wanted to see this film thinking Ben Stein is a smart guy, former Presidential advisor, seems pretty well rounded, I figured his movie would be more about opening the general public to Intelligent Design.

But anyone who can equate what Hitler did to science/evolution has lost all my respect. I have no further interest in your propaganda filled agenda.

And what's funny in a sad way is all the support churches and believers have given this movie with not one mention that I have found that his words were unacceptable.

Science does not lead people into gas chambers, insanity does.

Last Temptation of Christ

I not only left the theater, but left my date sitting there as well.

First cab ride I ever had, too.

I walked out of Pulp Fiction. I've slept through MANY in the theater and much more through rentals at home. I can rarely watch a whole movie at home.

I walked out of Pulp Fiction too! I was so upset that my estranged husband wouldn't walk out too! But, he didn't want to leave his recliner and he wanted to take full advantage of the free weekend of HBO, Showtime or whichever one it was.

He wanted to make sure he got his moneys worth. I think "free" was overcharging us.

I only walked out on the Blair Witch Project. It didn't make me mad, but it was extremely overrated and boring and I couldn't take the camera jerkiness anymore. I have fallen asleep in several and in others, my friends/husband--whoever accompanied me and other people in the row near us just started having a conversation and ignored the movie, but stayed in the theater. It is hard to walk out since you do spend a small fortune anymore.

Several years ago a friend and I went to see Ladykillers with Tom Hanks. I've always been a fan but after the, I don't know millionth time of hearing the "F" word we were through. We left after about 30 - 40 minutes. I was amazed that we stayed so long. This was also the first movie that I noticed about 50 other people leaving before we did.

I can't remember walking out of any other movie. I tend to avoid those that I think may be worthless.

It was Bringing Down the House, starring Queen Latifa and Steve Martin.
It was in such poor taste and in the movie there were several very ignorant and stupid stereotypical comments and suggestions about African Americans and our culture. Also there were demeaning comical references made about African American slavery. I would not reccomend this movie to anyone.

You didn't like Pulp Fiction?! You are entitled to your opinion, but it is such a great film, in my opinion.

I remember my dad renting Larry The Cable Guy Health Inspector and I went to my room after half an hour. He finished it and said he wished he had never rented it.

Bad movies are usually a delightful experience for me. Mostly for the insults.

The only movie I've ever walked out on was Vanilla Sky. What was Cameron Crowe thinking. Coming down from Almost Famous with that garbage...

It had a great soundtrack though. I really can't watch anything with Tom Cruise in it. Unless it's from the early point in his career. Before he bought the rights to Looney Tunes.

I've walked out of one movie in my life, and that was The Pelican Brief.

May God have mercy on the souls of everyone involved with that movie!

You mean, with Denzel Washington (probably my favorite actor) and Julia Roberts? Oooookay.

I walked out of "The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising". It was based on Susan Cooper's book "The Dark Is Rising" from The Dark Is Rising Sequence ( Over Sea, Under Stone; The Dark Is Rising; Greenwitch; The Grey King; Silver on the Tree).

I adored the series as a kid, spent MANY hours planning how I'd make it into a movie. I was so very excited to see that it had finally been done - but I walked out at the end wishing I'd not bothered to try to sit through it. Turns out there was only another two minutes left, but I'd left.

I was upset through most of the movie at all of the changes. It seemed the only thing kept from the story were the very basics - names, general storyline of finding the signs, The Rider. But otherwise it's a total different story. Having Tom be Will's twin brother who went missing, and then is just returned was the last straw for me.

On it's own, to not know the story, my son loved it. My daughter was finally interested enough to read the book - then within the first two chapters she came to me and said "No wonder you were so upset! This is SO much better than the movie!"

It could have been so much more.

I've walked out of so many films I really couldn't name them all here. There is so much trash out there.

I used to sit and watch these dull, going no-where, doing-nothing, saying-nothing films where you keep waiting for something to happen and nothing ever does. So now, I do not hesitate to walk out if I am by myself. It is different if I am with hubby or friend. I think they might be enjoying it so am more hesitatant to say or do anything.

Some films I've walked out of - Bridges of Madison COunty, Bye, Bye Brazil, Days of Heaven, and Dancing in the Dark. IN the 80s I went to at least 2 movies a week and usually walked out of one. The names escape me now...but is that any wonder?

I only go to perhaps 6 movies a year now and I have not walked out of any in the past couple of years or so.

I've learned that if I've read the book, to NOT see the movie.

The only exception thus far has been the Lord of the Rings.

Chronicles of Narnia have been good, but there are still "reader's digest" type of changes to keep the movie in the allotted time frame.

Was it really that bad? I've been tempted to rent it lately, because the couple of his other movies I've seen have all been pretty out there and I wondered what his take on a sci-fi story would be like.

The only movie dh and I have ever walked out of mid-showing is Mission Impossible 2 ... and it wasn't because the movie was bugging us ... it was because I ended up having some preterm labour with our first child.
