I guess I don't see the confusion. Your home is your home. If you're not comfortable with someone being in your home, you simply make it clear to them WHY you don't and you don't allow them in. I don't really it as a Theological issue. With that said, I think you might want to use language more precisely. You started off by saying that this person was "demonic" and now it turns out that he's apparently a Christian who has some beliefs that you just don't happen to agree with. That's very different than someone being "demonic". Tony

Have you told your cousin that his claim to be a Christian is an outright contradiction of what he claims he agrees with Oprah and Tolle with?

Oh, (sarcasm alert), that will really knock his socks off. Tell him to hit the road or your local law enforcement agency will get to try out that new pepper spray formula. He can send you a letter should he ever care to have an adult conversation.

If it is an isolated incident, it might be difficult to justify keeping him out. Is the term "demonic" a euphemism for an emotional outburst on his part? That is to say, did he merely get loud and frighten you? Or, is there something truly supernatural going on here? He may just be theologically "out-to-lunch." But since you are a woman, I assume he is bigger, and since obnoxious and frightening behavior in someone is something you don't want in your home, I understand your fear. I think you mean "scary" behavior?

I disagreed and we looked in the Bible, he left. He keeps coming back. Saying things like "there is other ways besides Jesus" Ok. but you got to leave here. I don't want to debate that with you. It is turning into he wants to rasie his hands over my children and say things I don't understand, I try to stop him and he says "I;m just playing with your kids. Last night, he came back and hugged me said he loved me, I said I love you, he said It ain't easy to give up, I said sin is never easy to give up, He jumped up , his eyes got bulged, He screamed" ARE YOU TELLING ME I SIN? I got scared. Jumped up, I have never seen anything like that. My hubby came into room and led him out. I ws shaken, but i and my hubby are wondering, what should we do now. do we stop him at door, Tell him plainly he is not welcome What? any verses?

To answer some of the questions. Yes, anyone to me that denies Christ is "demonic" Yes, he keeps coming over. Now he scared my neighbor, asking them do they believe in spirits? Raising his hands and saying strange words, my neighbor, who is over 6'3 knocked on our door and was like you gotta get him. He was spooked! now add his crazy self to alot of my family members who are in love with BO, Oprah, and think Rev. Wright is the best pastor ever! All of a sudden, they want to come argue or convince me I'm crazy. I'm going nuts trying to explain that this is not right, none of it. Stop looking at their color! They are wrong! I told the one that I am not comfortable with him coming over, saying strange words, he said EVERY person should bow to the black man! Weirdo, he also will not stop coming. He's acts like he does not get it. When I try to say well it's against my religion, he says I'm a preacher. You are refusing a Christian! Where's the cops when you need them Henny, good video! LOL!! I needed that laugh this am.

First of all, are you saying you are going to force him out of your home, never welcome again, because of his views? From what you say, he is not Christian, and you and he disagree. So you want him to be Christian (he is not) and he says he is and that's why you argue? I don't really understand... But if he is not a Christian, and knows it too, don't reject him because you think he is being manipulated by Satan. That's one of the big mistakes people make as Christians. If he thinks he is right, the Bible won't prove anything to him. To him, it's just a big book some invisible guy wrote thousands of years ago, of importance to Never reject anyone, instead show him scriptures and texts that prove his theory is wrong. Be kind, even when he is getting angry. I find that for most people, when they are spoken to in soft tones, their anger dies down. I hope my advice will help you cope.

What exactly do you mean by demonic? I consider the word, when applied to a person, to mean they are possessed by a demon. But I certainly wouldn't say that one must be demon-possessed in order to deny Christ.

The word "demonic" (as I would use it) would mean that the person is actually possessed by a demon. At the very least, you should be able to request that a person entering your home conduct themselves in a civilized manner. If, however, their behavior brings out the worst in you, you should be able to verbalize that. Keep in mind that there are people who are just difficult to get along with. Does your husband see him the same way?

I am inclined to agree with your husband. But if the man doesn't want to change, nothing will probably help, not even psychiatry. There is an alcoholic mindset that is more self-centered than typical human nature. Reasoning seldom works. Depending on how much trouble he is causing, keeping him away might be the only solution.

Well, this person maybe demonic give Tracy some credit for discernment. Do you guy's think it makes her feel good to act like she it the nutty woman in Trading Spouses? Seems like Tracy is tring to do the right thing; even though it is not the popular thing to do in her community.

and the man is a pastor? He says on his way, he took theology in college? But I have looked this up I think before, you can get a "pastor" liscence on the "net in a day for a fee of course. I do have pastors/preachers in my family. I have a great uncle that is 85, just retiring from a Church in Omaha, Ne. WE both grew up under this uncle here in Mpls, MN. He comes from a long line of preachers/pastors The great uncle. I also have a uncle that was caught using drugs in his church. No this guy ain't a preacher, certainly not a pastor of any Church. Or maybe he is just not a preacher of Jesus Christ. Are you "judging" if you talk about a person ie this case?

The person she describes would be difficult for any of us to get along with. When one confronts a difficult person, it is often healthy to have some reassurance about their perceptions of that person.
