ORIGINAL: Sideways During the end of my nursing time with Nathan, I thought that my supply was getting very low. He's been completely weaned for more then a week now (and it went fine), but I am still producing milk during alone time with my husband. Husband doesn't care, but how long will this keep up? yeah what Ryanne said. IME (getting pregnant three times while nursing) it was different each time. The first time I had colostrum in one breast, and milk in the other...and I had stopped nursing in the first trimester. The second time my milk never dried up in either breast (stopped nursing in the beginning of the second trimester). This time (stopped nursing at the end of the second, nearly the third trimester) I went back to having colostrum at the beginning...but the milk was coming in very quickly (like within the first six hours....that's very early for me). So it could be that you won't dry up at all (or quit leaking) because of the hormones from pregnancy...or you could dry up and start over again after the baby comes.
