Glad things are getting better with Nathan, Nicole. I imagine as he gets older, his system matures.

I remember being worried because Hunter did not cry when I dropped him off at the nursery for the longest time. I worried that it meant he didn't care I was gone and now that he cries just about everytime, I hate it! I feel so guilty though I know he is fine after a few minutes. But, I definitely had a lot more crazy new momma worries, but I won't go there you might thing I am a weirdo

;((((((((((((((((((((((((Sarah)))))))))))))))))))))))))

Tonight before his bath I was talking to him and HE COOED BACK!!!!!!!! He smiled and cooed like he was trying to talk back to me. It was ADORABLE.

Brandy - all I can say is this: You are Right.

I feel sheepish now! Anyone else wanna join my sheepish moment?

Oh and anyone elses kids have SMELLY poo's? Phew. I know when he's had a poo. He smiles every time a poo diaper comes off, lol. Although tonight he really over did himself. Jason went to change a poo diaper and the minute he took it off he smiled... and then peed EVERYWHERE. It was silent, but very wet, LOL. It was right after his bath. We pretty much had to give him another because the pee and poo ended up everywhere. LOL

ROFLOL!!!! That picture in my head is so funny! Timmy used to make a little grunting noise and smiles when we changed his diaper after her started enjoying them. When he was new, he screamed all the way through a diaper change....The whole I'm naked and it makes me feel like I'm falling thing.

Every kid has smelly poos, Jae. It just depends what they smell like... I much prefer the smell of a newborn bf baby poo to one of a baby eating solids or formula though.

The day has come. Levi can no longer be contained. He's been able to climb out of the pack n play for a couple weeks now. Today, he climbed out of his crib, and landed on his feet.

Levi, is one determined little boy

I didn't mind Hunter's dirty diapers when he was exclusively breastfed, they smelled like buttered popcorn most of the time. Then he started solids and it went downhill from there. Last night he had one at church that everyone got a whiff of. Not nice at all!

Luke made a stinker one time so bad that my dad and I were literally walking around the room looking for a dead rat or something. We just knew that all that smell couldn't have been from him... but it was

Kenna made a bad one last night. 2am and I just nursed her and put her back in her crib, then I hear her pooping... followed by a big laugh. Apparently she really needed to go!

Donna- my sympathies....I don't even have to raise the rail with Anna- she has no intention of falling from high places- she is more adventurous than Eleni ever was, but she fell off the bed and off the chair one time and that was enough for her to learn the power of the "edge"

I hope you get a spider monkey boy this time around, Jennifer.

Although...Hannah was the same way...so even a girl is no guarantee for me...

Hey- no fair wishing that on me! Anna is a monkey- just a cautious one! She manages to get up on the table even with all the chairs pushed in... she just doesn't fall!

Good to see you around, Jennifer!!

Oy, Levi sounds like a rounder! Isabel started climbing onto the kitchen table last week. But she's never tried to climb out of her crib.

Last night when we were getting ready for bathtime (just me and the girls...Joel is traveling until tomorrow afternoon for work) Jael crawled into the bathroom...which normally isn't an issue even with the bathwater running to fill the tub 1/4 full. Especially since I had just stepped back into our bedroom to grab Hannah's towel... I hear crying...and Hannah comes running to get me with a concerned look on her face and patting her head (saying Jael hurt her head). When I reach the bathroom (literally like 5 steps away) Jael is sitting cross-legged in her diaper in the tub crying! Apparently she tried to get in and ended up exactly where she wanted to go...lol...the tub didn't have enough water for anything to have happened...but she was sure shocked!!! The naughty little monkey!

OH! And I turned on the Rangers baseball game this afternoon while we were sitting down to lunch...Jael looked at the tv and said, "Baaaaballl" (baseball)...then tapped her head to tell me the men were wearing hats. Too cute!

Luke's a master at climbing in and out of the tub now. I've found him a couple times in there, no water, trying like crazy to take his clothes off, yelling "Bath! Bath! Bath!" Kenna's really trying to climb in there too. The two of them don't think I'm fast enough at getting them in when it's bathtime.

Luke's also a pro at climbing out of cribs, etc. That's why we've moved him to the bottom bunk of Marshall's bed. He LOVES sleeping in the big boy bed, but likes to come out and visit the grown-ups after bedtime. We're working on keeping him in there.

Just got a call to let me know my two big guys are on their way home. Marshall had a laser treatment for his birthmark this morning in Jacksonville. I couldn't take off of work due to some major training we had going on at the office, so he and Will got to go by themselves. "Man-time" they've been calling it. I've been a nervous wreck all morning waiting to hear that all was well. They've just had lunch and are their way home now. Procedure went great with no problems! Yeah!

Hannah did that once when she was not quite walking yet. She crawled into the downstairs bathroom...and was standing up at the tub and tossed herself in head first! She was fine, of course, but didn't try that again!

Can you please pray for me and Nath I think we are beginning to pick up Grace and hubby's cold. He is pretty stuffed up when he feeds and I have a headache and a little runny nose. hubby is working non stop (so far he has done 53 hours in 4 days) so I don't have anyone to shoulder any load as he comes home just as Grace is going to bed or once she is in bed.

Nicole, sure thing...hope it passes quickly. I think we're getting colds here again too

I need some help....we're invited to Chase's "girlfriend"'s 1st birthday party this weekend, and I don't know what to get for a gift. She is a very busy girl, and she doesn't really play with toys.
I saw this pool that has a giraffe head on the side that squirts water and I thought that would be fun, but it says 3+ and hubby didn't think it was a good idea. I don't know what else we could get.
They have a cottage on a lake, so I thought some outside toy would be good, but I just can't come up with anything!!

Thanks Yolanda- he has got a cold, so I am just praying my tiredness and runny nose doesn't turn into anything more than that.

I think the pool is a good idea, most of the time the toys ages aren't really necessary, I mean they wouldn't be leaving the child alone in the pool even if they were 3.

Hi ladies. I'm stopping in right quick to say good morning and ask for prayers. We are going to see the doctor/surgeon about Jadon's thumb. The surgery won't happy until he's a year old, but it just makes me feel guilty and nervous to just SEE the surgeon.

Love ya!

Does anyone use bumper pads? I took ours out of the crib since I kept hearing how "dangerous" they are. But Levi flops around so much at night that now he's getting arms and legs stuck between the slats at LEAST once a night. What's the lesser evil??
