Bravado ladies.... How easy or difficult is it to get on the sports bra back type bra??

I HATE that kind and I'm dreading ordering and hating them.

It actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

But if you really don't like them, they do have other styles. You could try this one, I have it in black and really like it. I like that it has optional pads to hide headlights or nursing pads. And very comfy.

Although I know you'll still be worried, remember that your baby is only 1/6 of an ounce (4g) right now ... he/she is gaining weight just fine, and you will be too, soon!

Okay, you know how dumb you feel when you look all over for sunglasses and find them on your head? ...or for your car keys and find them in your hand? Well, here's a new one. I was just searching all over for the phone - while I was on the phone. Please tell me I can blame this on pregnancy brain... LOL

Tammy can I ask what size non maternity you wear? or even just cup size? I'm a DDD now.. I've been looking at the Body Silk for a few days now and wonder if it would be supportive enough. I may cave and just buy it and see how it feels.

Lily - yes you can blame it on pregnancy brain, I would.

I actually tinkled a few drops last night as I was walking up some stairs laughing. Which only made me laugh at myself more. It was a sad sight.

SOO tired today for some reason.

Miss Artemis (have you kept up on the books?), don't worry about lack of weight gain, you will DEFINITELY make up for it soon!!!

Ladies.. I want this baby out but at the same time I don't. I want to enjoy every last moment I have with her inside and oh so portable. It's really rather convenient.

Had to apologize to hubby tonight. I snapped at him - he came home from work after a hard day and said, "You're not planning on going into labor tonight, are you?" He's said something to that effect just about every night lately. Today it got to me b/c my mom and in laws are stressing wanting to know exactly when the baby will be here so they can make their plans to visit. I'm so tired of people expressing to me that they need to know when so they can plan... I DON'T KNOW when the baby will come - leave me alone! LOL Poor hubby - he didn't mean anything by it - he just had a tough day.

My sweet sister asked me the same question, "When should I take off of work so I can watch Hannah while you're in labor?" Um...I don't know! LOL! Whenever Jael decides to come, duh!

Not to mention that I had pretty much every one of my immediate family members call us up on my due date for Jael and ask me if I was going to have her that day. I told them all how unlikely it is to actually go into labor on your due date! Double duh!

When I'm not pregnant/nursing I'm 34C. During pregnancy I'm a 34 or 36D. While nursing I'm a 36DD.

Considering your size, you might want The Supreme Nursing bra.

Thanks for the pregnancy brain support, ladies! I feel much better about it now.

Kim, isn't it funny? I don't usually let all that stuff get to me, but sometimes it just does. Silliness.

It is! I'm afraid I was none to gracious to some my family members on March 28th of last year, lol! But they couldn't have expected overflowing understanding, right? I mean I was due and they were pestering me!! You get what you pay for, lol!

Yeah, I've so done this when not pregnant. I'm pretty sure I was talking with my sister at the time. I can always rely on her for understanding. She went to run an errand one day and dashed to teh passenger seat of her car. It took a few seconds of sitting there and not going anywhere before she realized she would have to exit the vehicle and re-enter on the driver's side if she was actually going to get anywhere.

I did that once!! I was on my way to church for a meeting and I am so used to Chris driving to church that I got in he passenger seat and sat there a while before I realized it was 1:00 on a weekday and he was at work.

Ok, had baby shower and they all joked about NOW I can go into labor..

well we went to a movie and I had contractions halfway through all the way to the end. These were not the BH I'm used to, these were period cramp feeling. SOOO WEIRD!!!

After movie we sat in the theater while everyone left and they dwindled away and I went to the bathroom, pee'd FOREVER and felt lots better. They seem to have stopped. For now.

geesh. Maybe I will be buying our car seat on Wednesday.. oi vey.

Brandy - I find it my bladder is super full (or my bowel, for that matter), I tend to have more frequent/painful contrax. That's pretty crazy though, that they were crampy ones! Maybe baby's wanting to make an entrance soon!

I'm 10 weeks now and I haven't gained any weight. I wouldn't be surprised by that if I were throwing up or not eating, but I'm eating as much... or more... than I ever did before. Should I be worried that the baby isn't growing? I'm going to be worried anyhow, so it doesn't matter what you say

13 days until my next sonogram. I will feel sooooo much better when I see the hearbeat again and reach the second trimester. I'll still worry, but maybe not quite as much

Amy, don't worry. At all. I don't think I gained any weight by then either. Even now, I haven't even gained half of what "most women have gained" by this point. I'm almost 21 weeks now and my baby still doesn't even weigh a pound. Everybody is different...I'm sure we'll make up for it at some point.

or you might not. With my third, I actually lost weight when it was all said and done...(or I might have finished with a +1 lbs weight gain..) I wasn't sick with him either..I just didn't gain weight, but he was a healthy 6.1 and is a romping, screamin' truck of a toddler now!

a pregnant body at rest uses up three times as much energy just to do the basic bodily functions like pumping blood and digesting food and breathing...so not gaining weight could simply be because your body is metabolizing it so much faster, even if it does seem like you are eating like a horse.

Brandy, I've been getting those for about the last 3 weeks or so - very low period crampy feeling. My docs said they are normal and are helping ripen the cervix. The last few days the contractions I've had are different from those though - they actually start up high in my uterus (it tightens just like the BH contractions, but are uncomfortable) and sometimes go all the way down to my upper thighs...

Kim - what a pretty belly! Your little one had a growth spurt since the last pic!

That's exactly how they were lily, very low. I was actually waiting/wondering if they were going to move up higher and encompass my whole uterus. But nope.

It's ok, she can cook a while longer and we can get things set up better.

We are actually moving her crib into our room, our tv into the closet (has sliding doors and is length of whole wall) and setting her up so that she is right there with us and we are getting a window a/c unit for that room. It will be interestingly cramped for a while but I think it will be worth it. I doubt she will spend much time in our bed until she's atleast a few weeks old. We have a fan blowing nonstop on our faces and yet can wake up hunkered down under covers and I don't want to smother her. That would be bad. And a cosleeper isn't an option. Too much money and our mattress is on the floor, not tall enough.

I really should learn to keep my mouth shut.

They have started again.

Feels so strange to know that anytime in the next 4 wks (her due date is June 10 so I give her some leeway) I will have a baby. A real little person. Ack and YAY.

BUT in order to get there I have to go through a thing called LABOR AND DELIVERY!!!!! aaaakkkk!!

In the theater yesterday I could feel myself start to get emotional/quasi panicky and would tell myself "This is your body, this is natural and normal and good" and practice some relaxation from head to feet. It was actually kind of soothing to think about but scary at same time to know....

SHE'S COMING!!!!!!!!!!

Brandy, I know everything will go wonderfully for you! I need some of your excitement to rub off on me... I tend not to get very excited about things until the moment is right here... I guess that is good in one sense (I'm not nervous about L&D yet), but at the same time I feel like a weirdo for not feeling like "I can't wait until he is here". I'm perfectly content right now with him hanging out inside. LOL

That's actually how most of my labor was with Levi. All very low, and even in the hospital, they had a hard time "finding" contractions on the monitor, when I was obviously having them! Don't discount those low ones as not being labor...they could be for you. The low ones are the ones that work on the cervix most, IME.

Who is your contact, Brandy? Sounds like you might need your own thread soon.

Thanks, Lily! I think he/she's had a growth spurt too, but sometimes I think I'm the only person who can see it!! My shirts are definitely not really covering the bottom of my belly anymore - they're just kinda hanging there I feel the same way you do - I'm definitely excited to meet June Bug, but am quite content with him/her being inside right now. I've been told so many horror stories about the last trimester and how uncomfortable and horrible it is, and I feel like this is my best one yet! All my aches and pains went away when I stopped working and I hardly feel pregnant ... except, ya know, for the whole can't-tie-my-shoes, can't-bend-over, baby-punching-my-cervix, huff-and-puff-up-the-stairs stuff

Brandy - wow! Any time now!
