I'm 12 weeks Skillful, and I know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to the belly that isn't really a baby belly yet. dH wanted to name the baby Naomi if it's a girl, 'cause it kinda goes with Ruth, you know? But I'm not sure. We have the worst times with girl names. We both kinda like Abigail Elizabeth. Olivia is nice, too, but it's not Biblical (well, olive trees do figure prominently in the Bible, and it's not an absolute requirement that it be a Bible name). Olivia and Abigail also extremely popular names right now, and we'd like to avoid a top 10 name. I don't know what we're gonna do if we have a girl. Greg also likes Megan, 'cause he wants to call her Nutmeg. I ... don't care for it. Greg also likes Natalie, which would go with Nathan, and it means Christmas, so if she's born early.... Yeah I don't like that either. The running favorite for a boys is Joshua Charles Charles is a family name, so we don't really care about it being not Biblical. William Charles is also a possibility.

I too understand the not looking pregnant, just fatter. Never fear...in a mere few weeks, it will be obvious. If you doubt that, check my avatar. LOL Ruth, good thing you have some time to decide. Girl names are always harder for us to come up with for some reason also. BTW, I have a friend who has a Naomi, Nathaniel, and Natalie. I thought it was funny you already have one of those (kinda) and mentioned the other two in your post.

LOL .. .you pickd Erin's boy name, and our girl name, should we ever have another girl (this one is a boy). Have you picked out middle names yet? Our choices for names are Caleb Nicholas and Naomi Ruth. Had been *really* hoping to use Naomi this time, but it's being shelved for another day. Hopefully Caleb decides to come on or before his due date, as having yet another child go past date would drive me batty (or at least, it'll drive me nuts in the really bad August heat!)

The running favorite for a boys is Joshua Charles Charles is a family name, so we don't really care about it being not Biblical. William Charles is also a possibility. ohhh That's what we are planning on naming our little boy...Joshua.. we actually were going to use it as a middle name for our first boy... but both hubby and I liked it too much we didn't want to *Waste* it on a middle name.. so our first born ended up without a middle name... and now we are ready for our Joshua... but since we have told people that a long time ago.. its almost like... should we think of something else instead?.... I still like Joshua so much.....so we'll see.. I can't remember who it was that was talking about looking pregnant..... NO ONE could be as b ad as me.... last wednesday..... I had people act like they didn't know i was pregnant and were shocked when I mentioned it... I was like HELLO!!! I know I was big to begin with.. but this is DIFFERENT kind of big.....and today while in the hospital with my mum... the nurse thought I had had my baby already?! I was like... NO.. still in 10 days!!.. I really DO think I look pregnant.....and I was told when I had the appendix that the baby was on the big side of the scale... so.. its not like its not out there...*sighs* oh well... I actually have not taken any pictures of myself during this pregnancy but plan to do so this coming week just as proof of being pregnant and stuff cause my mum never had pics of herself being pregnant and I used to tease her saying I was adopted!... so not very long now for me. I am not sure if I told you ladies but my doctor whom I was seeing at the office and that was with me all through the appendix ordeal will NOT be there on the day of my schedualed C-section.... so I will have to use the other doctor in the office whom I met a couple of times.. but I was really looking forward to have a male do the surgery rather than a femal.. I know it sounds wrong but I just feel male doctor's do a better job of the cut?! I dunno... its all in God's hands really... as long as my baby is healthy nothing really else matters right? take care all Sherry

Boy, I miss a day and I miss a lot. haha! Dreams - Artemis I too have been having dreams. Sometimes they are really scary and sometimes just weird. I have been having very vivid dreams every night and they usually involve my first husband saving me in some way. I get this strange emotional feeling when I wake up. I have also been having dreams of losing my son. Like last night we were in a store of some kind, he was with a friend and I panicked because I thought someone had snatched him up. In the end of the dream I found him but was scared as heck. Body Image - I forget who brought this up, but I have been really struggling with this. Prior to this pregnancy, I worked hard by working out and eating healthy to lose 10 lbs I gained from a miscarriage nearly 3 years ago. *sigh* I had gotten into an eating and workout routine that made me feel good. Then the pregnancy came, and I was cut off from exercising. So I gained 10 lbs in the first trimester. I looked like I was gaining weight, not pregnant. I am finally starting to look a little pregnant. FINALLY! My cousin told me yesterday that I don't even look like I am which again reinforces the mental thought of "Oh, I must just look like I am putting on weight." I can't wait for when I "look" pregnant. I feel for you other pregnant women who are going through this self-image difficulty. Weight Gain- Although I think it is recommended to gain 25-35 lbs. during a pregnancy, I don't think it is essential as long as you are eating right. That baby will be fine. I, too, like the boy name of Joshua. My hubby and I had a hard time coming up with a boy name. I had the opposite problem when pregnant with my son. And it turns out this time we are having a girl and last time had a boy. Isn't that interesting? We picked Hannah Nicole for the name.

Ruth - You have a lot of girl names to decide from. I too like Olivia Grace, but I am partial to Abigail as well because if we ever have a little girl that will be her name.

I hope to join the list soon! This is my last pill pack; I will not be refilling them anymore. Though we will not be officially trying (charting and all that fun stuff) we will not be preventing either. So, ultimately it will be in the Lord's hands as to when he blesses us with another baby. I am still finding it way more scary to prepare for #2 than #1. I think it is because I am still battling fears about "the world we live in". But, I talked to my mom about it and she said she felt the same way 28 years ago when she had my sister and 26 years ago when she had me. I told her I almost felt guilty bring another child into this world. The next words out of her mouth really hit home...she said if I felt guilty about that I should feel guilty about bring Hunter into this world. I have never once regretted it or felt guilty for it, I couldn't imagine never knowing him or having him in our lives. She said if that was my reason for not having more children it was wrong. I agree!

Thanks, Jennifer! I just need to hear that encouragement a lot right now as I still struggle on and off with fear. I am completely having to put my trust in the Lord with having more children.

Does anybody have Sarah's magic How To for posting pictures? How To Link to a Picture..... *upload the picture you wish to link to into a photo sharing web site (I personally use photobucket (see, that's a link), but I know there are a few more too) *in a separate window from the forums, pull up the picture you wish to share, highlight the URL (the things at the top that starts with "http://www.") and copy it (either by holding down the "CTRL" button and hitting the "C" or right clicking with the mouse on the highlighted URL and clicking on "COPY") *back on your forums page...write out what you want to be your link word. Some people like to put "<--link" beside it so that others know it's a link word, but I don't find that necessary...the color of the word is different so it's pretty easy to see if it's a link. *highlight that key word and hit the "LINK" button up above where you type...this will make a pop up box come up. If it doesn't come up because of a pop up blocker then hold down the "CTRL" button while clicking on the link button. *the box will have three sections....the top should say "htpp://" in the pull down box...the second will need to be filled in with what you copied earlier...where your picture is locates. Just put the curser in there and paste your url in there (either by holding down the "CTRL" button and hitting the "V" key or by right clicking with the mouse and going down to "PASTE". The third place should have your highlighted key word in it. *after putting in your URL hit the OK button and it will put the proper stuff into your post. It will look funny typed out, but it will be fine when you preview your post or post your post.

LOL! Last night I dreamt that I was late for school, and the road was icey so I had to slide down it. Then when we got to the bus stop I didn't have any shoes, so our neighbors wife(same neighbor I had IRL, but a new wife ) took me home to get shoes. Except I didn't put on shoes, I covered my feet in oatmeal.

Thanks, Lisa. I am 13 weeks today, and my prenatal went well. My blood pressure was 99/60, so that's good. I want to slow down my weight gain, and if I'm being honest with myself, I could really be eating a lot healthier. Midwife said to go easy on the exercise and don't pressure myself to do to much to quickly.
