Thank you very much for putting "women" in the title of this thread! I had a hard time in April telling the women only chat from the homeschool chat in my subscriptions list.

Good luck with your dental work, Stacy.

As for husbands...some days you can't live with them, you can't live without them. {hugs}

Well, the sand storm pretty much died down by the time I left school. They cancelled our curriculum work after school so we could leave on time. It was just a lot of dust in the air by the time I headed out. Same this morning. I was really hoping for a sand day today. They had us take our calling tree with us so we'd have all the necessary numbers. Then we didn't need them. So here I am. Oh, well, I least I get to give the girls their science test.

Happy May Day, everyone!

Not too much going on today. Right now I am chillin' with Mary. She is sitting in her bouncy chair doing her morning job of filling her pants. She's a pro at that ya know!

Today I will sit and look at a book of wallpaper. We finally have a house!! The upstairs needs a lot of work on the walls and ceilings. The wallpaper is still from like the 40's or 50's. Super taky. There is this new wallpaper that is plain white with texturized patterns. And you just glue it on and then you paint it. It is soo cool. The only problem is that the ladies that do wallpapering here are booked for about three months so it probably won't get put up until about Aug. We also need to have a guy come look at the electrical outlets to make sure they can handle our electronics. Fortunately that is something that is not too hard to fix.

(((((((((((Stacy)))))))))))) I cannot believe he wants to sue you. That is completely idiotic of him. I feel terrible for you. I will be praying okey dokey?

Beth, I am glad the sand storm died down. Did you get any pictures you can share?

Ummm, go Mary go? You guys just bought a house? Awesome! I think that paintable wallpaper is neat.

Jennifer, hopefully it is still sunny when you leave work. How many hours do you work in a normal day?

I'm not feeling the greatest today. I don't know what is up, but I feel sick and was up all night in pain. I didn't even do anything that could have hurt me so Lorne thinks I am sick with something. It is annoying. My stomach has been hurting for a few days now so maybe I am sick. I dunno...

And my grandma is mad at me... for no reason. About 3 weeks ago she emailed me and told me she was having a birthday party for my grandpa on May 3rd. His birthday was yesterday by the way. I told her to remind me about it, but wanted to come.

On monday I emailed my mom and mentioned us coming to stay with them this weekend if it is ok. We can't come cuz her dog just got spayed and can't play with our dogs. No biggie. Anyways, I found out she didn't know about the party. My brother and sister weren't told either. They were all quite upset they weren't even told. She has seen and talked to my mom and never even mentioned a thing.

So now my grandma is mad at me for no reason. I just told my family about the party and assumed they knew about it. She sent me a blah blah everyone is so mean email late last night and sounded very rude and harsh. She said that she wasn't going to invite the family that lived nearby until today since they live close... but didn't even to think they may have other plans. Like how my mom can't leave her dog at home after surgery and my brother is coming over tomorrow to spend the weekend with us. So now she is mad that none of us will be coming. She said that we all knew grandpa was turning 75 so why should she have to tell us about the party... except he turned 75 yesterday, not this coming up saturday.

I am so sick of her whining to me when she is mad at my mom and the world. I didn't even do anything. And my mom and her other 2 kids are right to feel upset.

Hey Roberta, how are you?

8hr days

Nicole, I hope you get to feeling better, and it seems like your grandma will just have to get over it... she should have told everyone at same time, and if she wanted let them know later she should have told you that lol...

Not exactly. My grandmother bought the house and we will be renting it from her. Once our house sells in Orlando then we will buy this one from her. She is helping us get the walls upstairs redone, but we will have to take care of the floors ourselves.

I want to see pics of the house Nicole!!!!!

So I have gotten nothing done today. I took the student teachers to the "market" today. It has about everything imaginable and was quite crowded. However, I got several items- including a hammock!!!! But now I am tired and yet still have youth group yet tonight. And I have to go to work tomorrow Granted there are no kids, but there are still meetings and boring paperwork to do.

Besides that, I got a letter yesterday that the ***** guy I got into a very minor fender bender with 5 years ago is starting yet another civil lawsuit against me (insurance company settled on the last one). I spent half the day today trying to track down the phone number for the insurance agent that the info supposedly went to, only to find out that he's "in and out of the office" and was apparently out every time I called today. I guess if this lawsuit doesn't get settled I will have to go to Ohio in June for the hearing. It makes me SO mad that this guy can still do this after 5 years. The last lawsuit he filed was against my parents AND me and was for medical expenses, negligence (my parents for allowing an "inexperienced" driver on the road), and a whole slew of other ridiculous things (the accident was hardly even a fender bender- I scratched some paint off of my car, his was fine). The insurance co settled instead of fighting it in court, and our insurance rates went up. Now he's starting another lawsuit- there is a police report ON FILE that says no one was hurt and damage was minimal, but STILL he gets away with this.

Stacy, I was to in a car accident. My was not my falt and I have severe limitations from it. I know that your driver can try and do this. What I have learned from the law is to gather all the information from all the last one. Get copies of the police report, his statements, your statements, any other papers you used last time. I dont know if you had a lawyer last time. you do need one now. a lawyer will usually tallk with you one time and not charge you. Do not wait arould. Get this done as soon as possible to defend yourself. I am waiting to hear from 2 more Doctors. I t-boned a car going 75MPH on the interstate. A truck caused a car to cross the meadium and infront of me. The jolt has made my arthrits to accelerate. Keep us informed. By the way I am redpentanceisrequired mom. Little Mary is the love of my life. She is my life line right now. God Bless.

Hi everyone
Hopefully I can pop in a bit more than I did the last few weeks, hard with teething baby and not much time :)

Nicole your house sounds great, that's lovely your grandmother could help you out with it. We are trying to decide whether to build on or buy another one, we don't want big loan repayments though...

Morning Trish-how are you doing? Getting chilly now isn't it? NIce though, and the rain over this way has been great!!

I really don't know what to do about some clothes I bought yesterday. I bought a cardigan and this shirt. The cardigan I thought made me look a little big up the top but the lady in the store said it looked nice. Hubby told me it looked like something my mum or his mum would wear. All the things in the store are similar though, in all stores. The shirt is short sleeved so I have to wear a long sleeved one underneath to get any use of it in winter but the button keeps popping and its driving me nuts. I might just take them both back and have to start the hunt again for some tops that fit. I only have 2 tops that fit me, everything from last winter was maternity.

caringnurse- I do have a lawyer involved- the same one that was involved the last time. Not that he is returning my phone calls... Unfortunately I don't have a copy of the police report. When I talked to the insurance guy today he said that they were taking care of it. It just makes me mad that he can do this for what was a very minor accident- trust me, neither of us was hurt. The insurance co already paid out once on the claim (I think) I'm still driving the car that was in the accident, and his car was bigger than mine.

Ryanne- i don't have pics, but I have made up my mind that i will take them back. All I will keep thinking of is what hubby said and I don't want to be wearing things that he thinks look bad on me. Another friend is going to come Tues with me and help me look, my other friend who came with me is very young and she basically just watched the kids, but the friend who is coming next week is my age and is good with fashion and will give me an honest opinion.
