I am heartsick over it. Since I linked the video, let me apologize for doing it. I linked it here hoping it would open eyes and be used to expose not only the falsehood involved in Lakeland, but also how TB has complete disregard for those who are deathly sick. I've watched Todd knee people in the stomach three times now in Youtube. The other two he didn't knee as hard as this one. I personally feel it caught Todd surprised that he kneed him that hard as well and he tried to cover it up. If it was offensive, I apologize for posting it. It is just my prayer that this will end soon, hopefully before someone dies from something like this.

Ben...Thank you so much for compiling these. I found out the other day that the church that some of our friends attend (big time Latter Rain/Signs and Wonders), sent their staff down to Lakeland to bring back the "anointing". They started holding Friday and Sunday night "outpouring" revival meetings in the hopes of spreading the Lakeland circus here in New England. I'm going to send that list of links to them as well as the leadership of the church. I'm not expecting a good response though. We were called Jezebel spirits before when we questioned their theology and that of their church. But even if the Holy Spirit speaks to even one of them, praise God. The church also has a message board. I'm going to see if I can register and post them there.

I could not remember if THIS video had been shown. It is Part 4 of a series and shows Bentley being presented with a ring to commemorate his "prophetic commissioning." Where is the biblical backing for that? Oh, that's right, they don't need any biblical support for what they do. I forgot! "An astonishing and horrible thing is come to pass in the land: the prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?" -Jeremiah 5:30-31. On another note, I noticed Bentley's wife has a profound limp...how come Todd hasn't healed that? There is also a lady on the stage who prays for them and she is in a wheelchair (she is the last one to leave the stage). Who is that? Come on, all of those heavy healing hitters on that stage and there are two who are on their team who are not healed. I wonder how they explain that? ETA: If this has already been covered, then please ignore, forgive me, and carry on!

If someone pulled me back from the dead, I would be upset with them. Finally, no pain and someone pulls me back into the veil of tears I guess Todd also ignores this verse Psa 116:15 (ESV) 15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. If the death of a saint is something the Lord calls precious, how dare he, a mere mortal interfere with His plans. Our Lord makes little of physical death, but he makes much of moral and spiritual death. Oswald Chambers (1874–1917)

Is he preaching on a death that is far more insidious that phyical death? A living hell which is an eternity apart from the Lord?

And what on earth is the "sheekaboomba" supposed to be? I can't seem to find it in my Bible's index. It really disturbs me when he says that. Particularly in the video of him trying to tough the children who don't want him to.

More than likely it is some type of supposed tongue he is speaking, that would be my guess anyway.

Why are all of you so opposed to the raising of people from the dead? Jesus raised at least three people from the dead in His ministry (Lazarus, the widow's son, and Jairus' daughter). And its interesting to note that his motivations were always in response to alleviating the suffering of those who had lost loved ones - the widow's ONLY SON, Jairus YOUNG DAUGHTER, Mary & Martha's WELL LOVED BROTHER. He then commissioned His disciples to, "As you go preach, saying, "The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand - heal the sick, RAISE THE DEAD, cast out devils, freely you've received, freely give." (Matthew 10:7-8). Death is described in the Bible as an enemy... Jesus' wept over Lazarus' death, and the pain and suffering that death brought into people's lives. In the Book of Acts, the church continued raising people from the dead. Why? Because the compassion of God in them motivated them to do something. It's also interesting to note that Jesus' commissioning the disciples to preach the Gospel, heal the sick and raise the dead was right on the heals of Jesus' having seen the crowd that were scattered with no shepherd, and he had compassion for them (see Matt. 9:34-38). When I read the posts of those who are so opposed to the possibilty of God raising people from the dead, I am reminded of the story in Mark 3:1-6 where Jesus wanted to heal the man with the withered hand, and the Pharisees watched Him closely, whether He would heal him on the Sabbath, so that they might accuse Him. How did Jesus respond to their lack of compassion for the sick man? "And when He had looked around at them with anger, being grieved by the hardness of their hearts, He said to the man, "Stretch out your hand." And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored as whole as the other." (v.5). Jesus didn't care what the spectators thought - He had compassion for a hurting man, and healed him. When I was the youth pastor of a church in Surrey, BC a few years ago, we experienced a genuine outpouring of God's Holy Spirit (revival). There was a time of repentance where young people were getting right with God, repenting of sins, getting saved, and then were moved with a compassion for the lost and hurting in our community. We started heading out into the malls to lead people to Christ and pray for the sick, and God was using these young people. During that time, one of our youth leaders, a young man named Geoff Schulkowsky, prayed for a young man to be raised from the dead (he had died of a drug overdose), and God raised him from the dead! So - God's still healing the sick and performing mighty signs and wonders today. Are there counterfeits? Sure there are. But let's not discount the real just because of the fake! And a final response to people's comments about not wanting to be raised from the dead. If *I* died, and was in Heaven with my precious Lord Jesus, I wouldn't want to be returned to Earth, either! However, on the other side of things, as a father, if one of my young children died, you better believe that I would want to pray for them to be raised from the dead. Call it selfish if you want, but we definitely see things differently on this side of eternity than we will when we get to Heaven, that's for sure! Looking forward to hearing some of your comments on this surely-thought-provoking post!

There was a girl that Todd Bentley claimed was raised from the dead three days after her death, while she was being wheeled to the operating room to have her organs removed as a transplant donor; he even named the hospital in Florida where this happened. What is documented is the fact the hospital completely denies this ever happened! This is one case of documented fraud.

Here is an interesting Bentley video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWX05-hCjuk I have seen much of what was in this video, and it still just turns my stomach; however, there were a few things in this video that I had not seen before, and I am shocked that people can watch these things and not realize that these are in opposition to what the bible teaches. A little more that 3 minutes into the video, Bentley uses the name of Jesus in what appears to be a very irreverent manner i.e. it really appears that he took the name of our Lord in vain. At about 14 minutes into the video, Bentley, Jones, and some lady begin talking about their trips to heaven, something they claim they can initiate at any time. Jones claims to make such trips daily, and claims to have taken (by his own choosing) both Todd and this woman to visit the heavenly realm i.e. they are teaching that the power to enter and leave heaven is within themselves, and that they can at their own choosing bring a guest with them. At 34 minutes Bentley claims that Jesus himself would visit the revival in person on Jun 6th i.e. Jesus is going to return and has given Todd Bentley advanced notice!

Shame on all of us for thinking that 'ole Todd and his revival were a fraud! I caught this from Charima Magazine online. I feel much better knowing that these wonderful and "anointed" men of God support this: California pastors Ché Ahn and Bill Johnson, along with Canadian pastor John Arnott, laid hands on the 32-year-old Bentley while Peter Wagner, leader of the International Coalition of Apostles, read a statement about the need for apostolic alignment. Other prominent leaders from the apostolic and prophetic movements stood on the platform to show their support for Bentley and to endorse the revival, which began in early April and is now in its 83rd day of continuous meetings. The ceremony, held in a 10,000-seat tent, took place after some charismatic leaders raised questions about Bentley’s claims, methods and theology. They asked Wagner to oversee a dialogue, and he responded by organizing Monday evening’s event so that Bentley could have more accountability—or what Wagner calls “apostolic alignment.” “I believe last night was truly historic and a true sign of unity,” Bentley told Charisma today. “Many streams converged and I know last night’s commissioning will truly help bring God’s outpouring to a much larger part of the body.” Participating leaders at the ceremony included Wagner; Ché Ahn, pastor of Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, Calif.; John Arnott of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship in Canada; Bill Johnson, pastor of Bethel Church in Redding, Calif.; and Rick Joyner, founder of MorningStar Ministries in Charlotte, N.C. Wagner said to Bentley on the platform: “This commissioning represents a powerful spiritual transaction taking place in the invisible world. With this in mind, I take the apostolic authority that God has given me and I decree to Todd Bentley, your power will increase, your authority will increase, your favor will increase, your influence will increase, your revelation will increase. Watch out...coming to a town near YOU! Organizers said nightly meetings will continue in Lakeland indefinitely. Bentley also plans to travel to other U.S. cities for one- or two-night events. “Entire cities are about to come under the glory of God … I’m talking about in America!” Bentley shouted during last night’s meeting. “I feel that what’s going to be released tonight is a city-taking, nation-taking anointing,” he continued. “We’re going to the cities, then the nations. My dream has never been for a mega-ministry, it has been for a movement. I want to be part of a movement.”

Nothing better than a mighty group of false teachers and false prophets blessing another.... I once preached a sermon some ten years ago where the running theme was: "Churches where Jesus is on the outside looking in through the windows....."
