No, they didn’t. The constitution could not be implemented unless all member states ratified it, which wasn’t the case. A number of countries did ratify the constitution, but their ratification didn’t change anything…it wasn’t unanimous. Since Mr. Jones' speech, the EU has given up trying to rework the constitution.

I hope he misspoke, because he gave that closing speech in Oct. 2006, and yet he clearly said “May 2000”. The Real ID act was supposed to be implemented on May 2008, six days from now, but it’s been pushed back until 2011. Around 39 states have already passed or are in the process of passing legislation opposing the plan, so good luck with that.

I don't think it really matters WHEN the real ID is coming out. What matters is if you believe what the Bible says, and that you don't take the "mark."

"And he causeth all ... to receive a mark in their right hand or foreheads, that no man might buy or sell save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name...."

Do a little research on the real ID and the RFID-chip, and you will find that these are both fit candidates to be the so called "mark." Pointing out that the release date of the ID was changed does not disprove anything.

I've heard that our new $20s/up carried a RFID chip. I've hammered my driver's license ... don't you dare laugh [:D] Clubs in Europe that have patrons who have a chip embedded in their hand so they can pay for their drinks, etc.! Who in the world would have a dadgum chip put in them? That's just crazy! As long as God knows what I'm up to ... that's all that really matters! I hate to see what's become of the world, especially the United States. It saddens me.

No, in the Revelation it says the mark is religious. "In the hand " means you obey it without believing. "In the forehead" means you also believe. See the link Below about the mark of the Beast.

I'm not Adventist. Denominations are a violation of scripture. I'm with you--Adventism, no thank you.
When asked how to have eternal life, Jesus quoted Deut 6, where G d says to keep all the 10 commandments and the moral laws of Moses.

Just a little interjection: how would a physical object like a chip be unpardonable offense against God? I would think that it would be a rejection of Him much more than an object. That being said, it would not be a chip. It would have to be the premise behind a chip. Something on the order of --> take this chip in worship/submission to (insert name) or starve, die, etc. KWIM?
