Mine is described in the Women's thread. Ha

But no matter what kind of wedding you want or end up having, one thing is for sure...

Do not procrastinate.

She didn't say that. She just said she's going to have a rehearsal dinner. Why do the work if you can skip straight to the party?

My sister bridezilla'd at her wedding in December. At ME. About something so small and idiotic, I don't even remember what it was.

Doing the Chicken Dance later at the reception seemed to make everything happiness again (aside from my GENIUS cousin spiking one of the punch bowls with an entire bottle of Bacardi 151. That boy... )

C'est la vie, I suppose.

-Kaman

P.S. If/When I get married, if such persons are there and such shenanigans occur, it will earn those persons two things: My forgiveness and a boot out the door.

I love to do the chicken dance with my kids. One cannot do it without laughing hysterically. Great therapy! I think they should make all Middleschool and High school kids take mental health breaks. 2 a day. for the 1st one they would have to skip around the school, not run, not walk, skip. You really cannot skip and not smile. and for the 2nd one they would all go to the gymnasium and do the chicken dance. Okay , I'm weird but I still think it's a good idea. Oh and to keep it on topic, I want to do the CD at my wedding.

Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled thread.

I don't know...but I get the feeling that a pre-teen/teen could skip and not smile if they were forced to do it (all the while rolling their eyes at the whole thing!!!!)

I would so do the Chicken Dance at my wedding. My other sister and I sometimes randomly break out into doing the Chicken Dance or perhaps singing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. This is a significant change from the girl who would get extremely embarrassed and sometimes start crying if I were to sing in public around her...forget even trying to dance.

...I am known to dance in the rain, as well.

It is if you don't mind becoming a drowned rat, and have cocoa and towels handy afterwards.

It's been around for a while. At least since I was in high school, I think. If not longer.

I'd link you to it but this place is locked tighter than Fort Knox and I can't get to any good links.

You can't scare me. I'll have two teenage boys and their friends at my wedding. Even if you hit me with your best shot, they'd still out do you.

Unless...you're talking about...The Thing. Then you'd make me cry.

Oh. And I'm not going the bouqet/garter toss either. *shudders*

Hate those being single and wouldn't want to torture someone else.

I'm with you on the bouquet toss.... I always find a way to hide at wedding receptions so I'm not called out on my singleness. I would dare do that to another gal.

Wow. Thanks for the link, Tina! LOL

I promise y'all . . . until I watched that video a few seconds ago, I had neither heard of nor seen the Chicken Dance. Ever.

Would y'all like to come over to my cave later on for goodies?
