Last night at work I started bleeding pretty heavily and cramping. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and this is my 3rd pregnancy, the prior two ended with no baby either. I've stopped bleeding for now. The doctor wants to wait until Monday to do an ultrasound and wants me to be on bedrest until then. I'm just asking for your prayers. I don't feel like I can handle this again. I want a baby so much.

Praying for you, and hoping time goes fast until your ultrasound, waiting is hard.

In my last pregnancy, I had a lot of heavy bleeding that started around 7 weeks and continued for about 2 months, and I have a healthy baby now, so not all bleeding is bad.

Do get plenty of rest.

Oh, Skillfull [:(][:(][:(] I wish there was something I could say that would help and make you feel better, but I know there isn't. Having a miscarriage was the hardest thing I've ever gone through in my life. I pray, pray, pray that this pregnancy is still OK and the baby is safe. I'm so, so sorry that you're having to deal with this. It's not fair [:(]

Praying too! I've also had 2 miscarriages, and thought I was having a 3rd because I bled for 2 weeks straight starting at 5 weeks - but that time everything turned out great! Don't want to give you false hope at all, but it's not a given. Definitely praying for you.

Ladies, thank you SO MUCH for your prayers and encouragement. The bleeding and cramping has completely stopped and I'm just taking it easy at home with my husband. I never passed any clots or tissue so I'm hopeful, but not too hopeful. The bleeding/cramping was fairly dramatic (painful and ruined a pair of pants). Anyway, thank you all again so much.

This is my fourth baby (the first loss of mine was twins) and doctors keep telling me that I'm totally healthy and fine and just have "bad luck." I fall in love with the baby the minute I know I'm pregnant and I just don't know how many times I can stand to say goodbye.

Still no more bleeding/cramping. Just some bloated/tenderness now (which wasn't there before). I really have no idea what happened. I'm praying so hard for a healthy baby.

My sister told me today that she's pregnant with the same due date as me. I haven't told her yet that I'm pregnant. I'm happy for her, but it did hurt. My husband said his congrats but later he had to leave the room for a little while to pull his emotions together. It's just been such a roller coaster. I don't know what time my u/s is tomorrow, I'm supposed to call in the morning to find out but I'll update everyone. It's so encouraging to me to have women I can tell about this and who are praying for me. God bless.

They saw a heartbeat!! I was SOOO relieved.

I do have a 4cm subchorionic hematoma (blood clot) which caused the bleeding and I'm not supposed to lift anything heavy or do any strenuous exercise (which I'm sad about, but as long as the baby is okay I'll do anything). She said they usually reabsorb within several weeks and 95% of the time everything is fine. Thanks for all the encouragement everyone, it really helped my sanity.
