Father, be they're hands, they're feet, they're mouths. Help them to feel You holding them close today. In Jesus name. Amen

peaceofGod -> RE: Daily prayer for the disabled (5/9/2008 3:23:15 PM)

May the encouragement which you give to them brighten the day of each person with whom they come into contact.

zondie -> RE: Daily prayer for the disabled (5/9/2008 3:34:24 PM)

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; and ask that you grant healing to the disabled. Perform miracles across this land Lord, as only You can! Open the deaf ears, the blinded eyes, give a voice back to the mute, give understanding to the mentally challenged, and the ability to walk to the lame. Straighten twisted limbs and restore 'feeling' to those who live with numbness day after day. Lord, You are the same today, yesterday and forevermore. And we believe that by Your stripes, we are healed! For all the disabled, who will come to You today, in faith and a believing heart; grant their requests I pray! Not my will, but Thine, be done.

I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.

tbrobinson -> RE: Daily prayer for the disabled (5/11/2008 10:01:41 PM)

My dad is in this catagory. He has ALS which is Lou Gerigs disease. He was a minister for 40 years. He is the most intelligent, Godly, wise man I have ever know and a HUGE fighter. For him to stand, to try to walk, to try to talk takes an effort we would never try.

But as I fight through my own issues he is always there, sometimes frustrated that he cant make himself totally clear, then he sends and email that is just incredibly prophetic and rings like a bell.

Just so that you can know what a person like this prays for.

1. He prays that he will always answer in a christian manner, especially when someone wants to help him and he does not want help.
2. He prays that his words will always be positive, and they are.
3. He prays that he will hear Gods whisper of direction in his ear about where he can make a difference. He in convinced God is not done with him yet, and know he is not.

Please think about these things and pray for all disabled as you see them.

Father I thank you for Dads example, courage, vision, and support. He has kept me from paths I dont need to go down, and encourage me in the doors that I need to open.

I pray for all disabled people in this condition, open our hearts, and give us sensitivity to their needs.

Amen

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; and thank you for all the disabled who embarks such encouragement and has such a wonderful attitude, as tbrobinson's dad! Help us to realize that when the disabled can independently achieve a task, to not discourage them by doing it for them. Thank you, for those who are physically challenged and are still so determined to do the Father's will! Bless them in all their efforts, dear Lord! Please continue to use these faithful few, to win souls to Your Kingdom!

Now Father, I ask a blessing in the life of iamjc-s' grandma. And all the family included in this request, who are disabled. Fill their hearts with joy and gratitude toward YOU! Give them an attitude of courage and devotion, to do the will of the Father. Ease any pain they may suffer from, and heal their bodies within the time and will, for Your completed purpose. I ask this for every disabled body in Your beautifully created universe.

I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.

Father,

In Jesus Christ's name we ask that you help those are mentally disabled. Amen.

zondie -> RE: Daily prayer for the disabled (5/19/2008 5:38:50 PM)

Father, I come to You in Jesus' name; asking once again for blessings to be poured out into the lives of all the disabled. Realizing Father that we too, have to trust in You, who is also our Keeper! Help all of the physically able bodied people, to look beyond our capabilities (physically), and search out our own handicaps, that may cause any interference of our relationship with You! Please open our hearts, minds and understanding; that we all are dependent on You, and that we also are in need of one another's spiritual support. Touch the lives of all who are struggling physically, mentally or spiritually today, is my prayer.

I ask it all in the name above every name, the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; the Son of the true and the living God! Amen.

Roberta_ -> RE: Daily prayer for the disabled (5/19/2008 5:42:39 PM)
