I spent my afternoon with three of the people who proofed my book, getting their feedback. I've got some good things to chew on and hopefully I can take the changes they've suggested that I'm accepting and get them done in the next few days. I want to get this show on the road, so to speak. I'm very tired but when I got home, dh came to me all excited because a classmate of his from 40 years ago is in town and looked him up. I don't think they've had contact since high school so it's really quite amazing that he was able to find dh since the school they attended was on the other side of the world and there are a ton of people with dh's first and last name. So we're going to go visit. I don't really want to go but dh did something he never does. When I asked him if it was important for me to go, at first he took that as a statement that I won't go but when I told him it was a question, he said, "Well, it's nice for them to see my beautiful other half." Wow! Now why couldn't have have been saying things like that for the past nearly 35 years of our marriage? When he puts it like that, how can I refuse to go?
