Ok...now I'm in total shock...got a shocker repair bill on son's car...it's going to cost more than the car is worth...so we are trying to decide what our next move will be. Geez Louise!!! I guess this is our week.

Sharon-Marie are you trying to get back at us for the SM avatars by your ever changing ones??? I liked them all but never know what might pop up next!

Got go and oversee homework....
LOL! Nope; Y'all's punishment reward will come when you're least expecting it.

I didn't like the beach avatar because it just seemed to faded.

ROFLOL...okay Sharon-Marie I'll be looking over my shoulder at all times...

As for the car issues...the Lord will prevail and I'm not going to worry about it. The Lord already took care of one thing this week...we were offered a settlement on a small loan we've been paying on for nearly 10 months...save us over $600 to pay it off next week. So we said sure...looks like we will need that extra!

That's cool!

God always takes care of His Children!

Back when I drove, I totaled my car at the early part of the week and had ZERO money to buy a new one. A friend of mine at church heard about it and that Sunday after church GAVE me one of his cars.

Turns out . . . right before he and I met, he bought a new car and Our Lord told him to put his old car in storage. About 3 years down the road, He told Tim to give that car to me. It was a red Baretta with a T-roof! It was pretty AND it was in GREAT condition.

God always provides. And I'm trusting in that for y'all.

Oh...remember me telling about my mother's problem with the water pipe breaking in the wall of her bathroom and flooding her basement over the weekend...well...as strange as it may be...a blessing in disguise...(of course she doesn't see that) but my sister and brother-in-law were there this morning continuing with the cleanup when they found black mold all over an interior wall in the basement...not from this water break but obviously from an earlier one. So they are tearing down walls and such...my brother-in-law is certified in hazardous material handling...city fireman...actually fire marshal. A mess needless to say!

SM, I almost put up my fish lips photo of you the other day but was afraid to do that. So I used a nice photo. Remember that when retribution comes.

LOL!

Santa, I forgot you had a fish-lips photo of me.

But then, seeing as how it's almost my natural expression, I wouldn't be surprised .

Y'all are getting nervous about this payback thing, arencha?!

Juuuuuuuust remember . . . when you least expect it . . . .

Just curious as why there would be pay back anyway because it was done to show how much we liked you.

Well, I know that . . . but apparently some people are expecting punishing repercussions . . . so I'm only too happy to oblige.

I'll have to agree with you both. I absolutely HATE the sound of an alarm clock.

I wake up to the radio. I have a 7 day 14 event timer connected to a stereo. It comes on the same time M-F and a different time S&S. It also comes on in the evening before I go to bed so I can go to sleep to music as well.

Hope everything is back to normal. We just made it back home. Had a great trip to Nashville. Melody Boys and Tribute quartet performed at banquet last night. Josh Garner and Palmetto State Quartet perform at meeting today.

Welcome home Bobby and Carol. How did the trip go for Carol? About the same travel time to Nashville as to PF I think.

I thought about Sam and Diane this morning when we were watching GMA. They were at the Grand Canyon as on the the 7 wonders of Americia. They were on the glass horseshoe looking down over one mile into the cannon.

Gotta check e-mails be back shortly.

Not sure what day they were going to the canyon. They must be having too much fun or he lost so much in Vegas he had to pawn his laptop.

It has been drizzling here off and on all day. All the heavy stuff has been south and east of me.

They did cancel the baseball game, due to the possibility of t-storms.
