Good afternoon to everyone. I ope all the mothers had a great day. Sure wish I could see mine. Spent the day with Mrs. Qtman though.

For those that asked the link in my siggy is to a slide show of the sights I saw and places I visited while in Las Vegas. I hope you enjoy them.

You may want to copy and paste this information and bookmark this website site. It may help when traveling to other areas:

Gas by Zip Code

This is pretty nifty. Just enter your zip code in the site below, and it tells you which gas stations have the cheapest prices (and the highest) on gas in your zip code area. It's updated every evening. Just click on the link; You will see a map of your area and then scroll down and you will get a listing of gas prices in your area with addresses and brands starting with the cheapest and going up.

http://autos.msn.com/everyday/gasstations.aspx?zip=&src=Netx

Be a good neighbor and pass this along .

Try www.gasbuddy.com also. They are more upto date if there are people in the area willing to post price for them.

I just talked to Santa and he said to tell y'all his power is off again and number 2 computer is not cooperating so he can't post. He will probably be on if the power comes back on.

I was going to go back to church tonight and it was storming so hard and the wind was blowing fiercely -- trees flying everywhere and the house was shaking... I decided not to venture outdoors....

It was like that here this afternoon too. We have a lot of trees in our back yard and I'm thankful that none have snapped in this wind.

After just over 2 hours without, we have power again. Praise the Lord.

Definitely will order new battery for Gateway computer the next day or two. Dell computer just too hard to do anything with even in good conditions.

Will try to catch up on posts. Was about to go to bed when power came back on.

Thanks James. With all the wind blowing so hard all day I am surprised it was so late in the day for power to be out. We have a lot of trouble where we are with trees and power lines.

Good evening everyone...calm now but we've had T-storms and rain off and on today. A tornado hit in sw Charleston County in an area called Hollywood...as far as I know no one was hurt. I'm not looking forward to Hurricane season. I guess I better take precautions seriously this year.
I had to call my mother and let her know about Dottie Rambo. Another legend from my growing up years attending gospel singings with my mom. I also had to let her know about a longtime family friend who passed away Friday. She told me she loved hearing from me but she really was beginning to not want to answer my call in fear I had some more sad news to share! I told her I would try to make the next call a happy one. Hope all you moms had a wonderful mother's day.
