Looks like sleep ain't happening for me for a bit. Joshua and I are the only ones awake, and he's not ready for sleep yet.

Do you fall asleep quickly?
I normally do.
CS and I used to watch tv together at night . . . translate that to he would watch tv and then I would fall asleep. Sometimes, I'd just go to bed and skip the whole pretense of watching tv.
One morning the very first thing he said to me was, "13 seconds." In his explanation, he said that's how long it took me to fall completely asleep the night before.
Ironically, we had a pretty large bedroom and in one half of it was a tv viewing area and a loveseat sofa. That's where we / he watched tv. I've never been able to do it before nor since, but during our marriage, falling asleep to noise (i.e., tv) didn't bother me.
