Hey Terri...how are ya?

Joey...we're trying to get you transferred sooner aren't we? Those 10 days will fly...I hope! It was this same time of year back in 1990 we were heading out west from VA Beach...spent the next 5 years in Silverdale/Bremerton, WA area. Loved it...would like to go back and visit but rather stay right here in the south where I belong.

I will probably be on and off today. More off than on but trying to keep up with what you're doing. I figure I'll take the day and fold laundry, maybe watch some videos or things that are semi-relaxing and enjoyable. Well, folding laundry isn't real enjoyable but I play music while I'm doing it so it makes it so.

report is 10 June but taking some leave b4. My lil sister lives in Belfair. my bro-in-law retires next month from navy.

I think one of the most beautiful views ever seen in all my travels is topping the large hill on the highway from Bremerton in Silverdale and the Sound is there, mountains in background, and Silverdale laid out in the valley. Poulsbo is most likely the most beautiful city ever been in. close as can get to a Norwegian fjord without being in Norway

Hey Joey!

My son and his wife had a baby a couple of weeks ago. His name is Andrew Joseph, and they call him Joey. Sorry, but that makes you my second favorite Joey now.

Sorry I haven't talked to you since your party at Tony's. I really enjoyed meeting you, and would love to be able to sit and talk to you one-on-one.

I know the view...I thought I was the only one who thought that! Breathtaking actually. Makes one very humble to realize how God can show off! We lived in Poulsbo for a few months while waiting to get into Navy housing...the only time we lived in housing. They had nice housing...as nice as anything we could rent on the outside...not the norm. Like I said we loved it out there and would love to go back and visit. I'm sure there are many changes since we left in 1995. Oh...speaking of God showing off...the view of Mt. Rainier on a a clear day was always breath taking too. I always describe it as looking like something Disney drew in the background.

We left early this morning, Had to be in Hiawassee by 9 am to meet a gut to work on daughters trailer. Just got back in. See it's been slow. Had an e-mail from Church where Dottie Rambo's funeral is gonna be and they are still trying to work it out to tape and/or have it on internet. Said as soon as they knew they would post it.

I was wondering why I had not seen you today. I don't get an opportunity to read ALL the Geezer pages, so sometimes it's hard to keep up with the coming and going of everyone!!!

Keep me posted, I would love to see you. And I would love to have you come to NQC. Then I could introduce you to all the record company people I harassed on your behalf!

Bathroom floor needs to be replaced in trailer. Trying to get it fixed so we can spend some time up there this year. One bath is ok, but gonna have both floors replaced while we are working on it. Got it scheduled for middle of June. Would like to spend week up there when the singing is in Bryson City so we can go a couple of nights up there. Triuimphant is gonna be there this year for the first time.

Surely even McD's could not mess up a chicken sandwich.

I've had one and I thought it was pretty bad.

I knew about the giveaway today and did not want a free one...we went to Chick-fil-A.

That's just my opinion.

I stopped to get one on my way out of town. It was nothing special, just a chicken patty fried in some herbs served on a plain bun with pickles. It could use some mayo.

My day's going well. I've gotten several more calls today. Plus a friend told me she may try to call later today. I have a friend who usually calls and sings to me but I'm waiting to see if she finds time since Friday tends to be busy for her. The calls I've gotten this week have helped me not to feel forgotten. I actually feel very blessed.

I'm currently babysitting; however, my "babies" (except for one) have fallen asleep. Two of them assured me that they only sleep on "rest days" so I guess that must be what this is.
